The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

- Use this version instead of the "I don't care about cookies" by Daniel Klanik, because that extension is owned by Avast, whos is using your data as they please.

- Very few options... In fact: none. 😀 But... IT WORKS!!! ....... I theoretically prefer the Consent-o-Matic approach (competing extension), where you can choose yourself which type of cookies you generally want to accept, and which ones you want to reject. "I Still Don't Care About Cookies" doesn't offer that choice. So it is not entirely clear which cookies it accepts and which it rejects. ....... (Example: I'm from Belgium and websites frequently mistake my language for French, while I'm from the Dutch speaking part of the country. So I desperately DO want to accept cookies for language settings! 🙂 ) ...... However, the Consent-o-Matic extension doesn't really work... And "I Still Don't Care About Cookies" does!! ...... So surfing just got a lot more fun again without all those nerve-wrecking pop-ups. ...... THANK YOU, Guus!
