(2023-07-22) Dan Thompson: Absolutely fantastic extension for creating groups of extensions that you want to be able to toggle on and off or see which are enabled and activate or deactivate individual extensions. I use it to manage the groups of extensions that I'm interested in trying or which I only use in certain contexts. And for that it is much, much better than the similarly named extension manager that has way more users. This one is definitely superior. That said, it does not... I'm not sure if it has support for automatically activating extensions under certain contexts, but even still I find it to be just far more intuitive to use and far easier to manage extension groups

Malheureusement, il faut sélectionner/étoiler chacune des extensions à lister/sauvegarder, ce qui est fastidieux. Il semble que le développeur a prévu d'étoffer ces options d'export/sauvegarde. Je l'encourage en ce sens, sachant que l'idéal serait de pouvoir sauvegarder une page html cliquable de toutes les extensions installées (actives et non actives) sur son chrome. Ceci afin de pouvoir rouvrir les liens pour les reinstaller rapidement ailleurs (l'unz après l'autre ou en batch ou en import direct).

Open Create Group dialog. Search extension by name (something not already at the top of the list). Select the top result. Clear the search box. This sometimes results in two items being selected -- the one at the top of the list, and the search result. You are recreating the table to match search items, rather than hiding results that do not pass the search filter. In either case, the items in the table should have ID attribute, so that the check is associated with the correct record, and not just the top record.

On the Extensions tab, the Create Group menu shows a dialog that allows you to edit the name of the group and add/remove items from the group. On the Manage Group tab, the Edit button only lets you change the name of the group. Both of these experiences should be the same.

These buttons should open a dialog to display additional information, however, they are not reliable. Sometimes the dialog appears, but only about 50% of the time.

On Extension page, click Switch view until full details are shown (most information displayed). Then, hover/click first Gear icon near Privacy drop-down. Even if the extension was installed from the Edge Extensions store, clicking Home on the Gear menu opens the page in the Chrome store. This can sometimes produce a 404 error when the extension ID is specific to Edge store.

If the extension modifies restricted UI, such as the New Tab page, Edge browser will not enable it through the API. For example, install Momentum extension. You can disable it via your extension, but Edge blocks the enable action unless you do it through the Manage Extensions UI. The manager mistakenly shows the extension as enabled, even though the action is blocked. You should verify that enable action is successful.
