# What does the extension do?
Not all DeFi apps support viewing data such as balances and rewards without connecting a wallet.
Now you can!
TresConnect enables you to connect to any DeFi app using any wallet address you insert, for read only information.
(e.g. can only view, not sign messages / transactions)
# Known limitations
Does not support apps that require signing a message for login.
# Requirements
You must have a MetaMask installed, as this extension changes the results returned from MetaMask when an app asks for the current connected address.
