Download PDF books from archive.org
Internet Archive (archive.org) holds more than 34 millions books. Some books are permitted to read online by borrowing for a limit period. With the extension, the borrowed books can be downloaded for offline reading.
HathiTrust Digital Library (hathitrust.org) is also supported. All books with full view permission can be downloaded.

Embedded text was accomplished. Now the produced PDF file can be text searched.
Usage
For Internet Archive (https://archive.org/):
After borrowing a book, two new buttons, "Quality" and "Download", appear under the book viewer alongside the "Favorite" button.
To get the current book as a PDF file, press the "Download" button.
To get each leaf as a JPEG file, press the "Download" button while holding Ctrl key (Command key on Mac).
To get only a range of leafs, press the "Download" button while holding Alt key (Option key on Mac), then input a range.
For HathiTrust (https://hathitrust.org/):
For books with full view permission, a new section, "Ayesha", appears above the "Download" section on the left-hand side of the page. The section contains three buttons, "Quality", "Tasks" and "Download".
To get the current book as a PDF file, press the "Download" button.
To get each leaf as a JPEG/PNG file, press the "Download" button while holding Ctrl key (Command key on Mac).
To get only a range of leafs, press the "Download" button while holding Alt key (Option key on Mac), then input a range.
The download process may take some breaks due to server constraints.

- Thank you for making this. I tried it and it worked without issue. I do have one question, however: After I downloaded a few books (I didn't keep track of how many), neither the "Quality" nor the "Download" buttons appeared after I borrowed a book. Is there a limit to how many books I can downlaod at a time, or is this a bug?

- 0.5.1 from the github website is not installing on Chrome but 0.5.0 is working fine. This doesn't download original pdf but rather download images of pages and combine it to pdf file. Thanks for the hard - work of the developers behind this tool.

- The buttons appears after "borring" a book but when clicking on download I get an error. Reference error: showsavefilepicker not defined. I am on Chromonium. Therefore, extension is not working.

- Brilliant. It saves me a lot of time and trouble. I used to have to identify the urls of the images of the first and last page, download them all with DownThemAll, using its indexing feature, and then create a PDF from the images. The only thing missing is an option to download the images themselves for further postprocessing with ImageMagick. The images are usually of poor contrast, color balance, and sharpness, but are easily improved, en mass, using IM. Maybe a future feature?
