UNC Chapel Hill employs a "webproxy" mechanism to access many academic papers and journals. One way to do this is through the UNC Link Builder (https://library.unc.edu/support/reserves/link-builder/) page. This can quickly get tedious, however, by manually copying every URL and paste it into the link builder webpage.
UNC Libproxy Helper accelerate this process by simply prepending the school's library proxy prefix "https://login.libproxy.lib.unc.edu/login?url="; to the current URL on the click of the extension icon. No other permissions/actions are performed by this extension.
