In order for YouTubeDiscordPresence to work, a second desktop application needs to be installed on your computer based on the GitHub instructions: https://github.com/XFG16/YouTubeDiscordPresence/tree/main#installation
**The current version only supports the 64-bit version of Windows. YouTubeDiscordPresence does not support the browser version of Discord. Expect compatibility for other operating systems in the future.**
YouTubeDiscordPresence works similar to the Spotify rich presence on Discord—it only appears when a video is playing and disappears when there is no video or the video is paused. Idling and searching are not displayed.
Maximize your experience with YouTubeDiscordPresence by customizing your settings! To the settings page, click on the small YTDP icon on the top right of the browser under the extensions (puzzle piece) icon.

Just go to the github that it opens after you add the extension and download and run the installer Works a lot better than premid too. It's a lot more reliable and customizable so I would def go with this extension.

- (2023-11-04) Damon Praisesthesun: I found this randomly while setting up the MAL-Sync version on new browser and it really is super easy to setup and works smoothly :3 If you pin the extension you can just click it and toggle it off to stop it from working if you don't want to broadcast something If you pause the video or anything it disappears though, it would be even better if it showed pausing and stuff but it's still great as is, good stuff dev

- (2023-02-06) What a wonderful application, i've used this application since September 2022 it was working somewhat fine back then with some minor issue. This recent update completely elevates this application into a whole new level, all the minor issue i've experience previously have been fixed and the RPC is working better than ever. Overall a solid 11/10 , Thank you for bringing us this application
