1-click blocker for Twitter
Description from store

This extension modifies Twitter by adding a block button to each Tweet. The block button that is added enables a user to block the owner of the Tweet in one click instead of the usual 3 clicks (1. open tweet menu, 2. click block user, 3. confirm block)

You can now block users from ANYWHERE! There's now a block button on the list of users on the Followers and Reposts pages. This is a universal 1-click solution to your Twitter blocking problems.

Additional features:
• Customizable Action: Choose between blocking or muting as your default action
• Flexible Button Placement: Select exactly where the button appears (Timeline, Followers, Following, Search, Communities, Engagements, Replies, Trending, Notifications, Hashtags, Profiles, Explore)
• Backup & Restore: Export your blocked/muted users and settings to a file
• Selective Import: Choose what to import (blocks, mutes, or settings)
• Data Management: Clear specific data (blocks, mutes, or settings) while keeping the rest
• Statistics: Track your total blocks and mutes
• Timestamped Backups: Each export includes the date and what data was exported

Works great. However. It would be awesome of you could move the button a little bit. It is overlapping with the Explain Button. At least this is the case if Twitter is not set to English. Have only tried a few but seems to be the case in all other Languages.

Suggestion: 1 click block using the keyboard Faster than mouse click
Kushal S
Can you move the block button placement? It currently sits right on the "ad" button.

Does this extension secretly, cause "following" some other accounts? Is this extension open source somewhere? I have screenshots where I clicked the "block" icon and I saw a mesaage saying "You followed @[random account here]" Please reply, I can remove this reivew but I'm very concerned... Again, I have a video & screenshots showing the above behaviour! I'm using v. 1.1.1

Swift and effectively

Fantastic extension. The developer emailed to let me know a bug I'd reported had been fixed. 10/10

Very good! Only one error where you can't see the menu after you hit "not interested.

can u fix the not interested feature? if the extensions is active it doesnt work, when you click not interested on a tweet it just disappears like it got hidden but doesnt actually bring up the second option where u can not interested the tweet or the user therefore not feeding the algorithm Edit to reply to the dev: it doesnt work that way because if u click a tweet and then go back you can see the option of " i am not interested in this" " dont show tweet from this person" options so its hiding that part and you have to go into a tweet then back for the not interested to function with the extension.

Fantastic tool! The only other feature I'd ask is to get it to recognize the twitter.com domain as well. Some tools that help you find people you want to block only use twitter.com. Of course, the extension is right to use x.com as that's the new standard, but it should be easy to code it to work on both domains.

Very useful, but it could use to have the buttons appear on follower requests and profile mouse hovers too (if those are even possible)
okay frog
would be perfect if not for the fact that occasionally, clicking someone follows them instead.

Functions exactly as it intended. 👍 Is it possible to add a 1-click muting button as well? Block and Mute have different usage in Twitter.

Does its job, but I constantly get a "Something went wrong. Try reloading." as if there is a cooldown on how many people I can block at once. If this is user error I'll redo my review! I use Microsoft Edge if that helps. Edit: Thank you for your response! Updated.

You are absolutely cooking brother, thanks a lot.

So helpful when I need to mass block people LOL thank you! The new block button looks great!

The new block icon is very clean and swanky. 10/10

Please update the colour to just match dark mode. theres no reason to pick a different colour. Also please make the cross symbol either white or black to also match the aesthetic of X Edit: Updated to 5 Stars - its is PERFECT now. Thankyou!

Works, mostly. It frequently somehow actually makes me follow the person I'm trying to block. Have to go into my following list and remove then block them. Latest update also leaves a tooltip on screen that won't go away until I restart the browser.
Michael White
It's perfect.

really cool extension but the button sticks out like a sore thumb on the black background, an option to edit it's color or an automatic color change depending on the theme set would be amazing edit: the update works amazing, changing the review to 5 stars. Thanks a lot!
sfrewsadasdsa
It works awesome but please change the design of the block button. It's really annoying on dark theme twitter
Neru
this is actually a pretty good extension sadly whenever you want to open a tweet with alot of replies to it when using this extension then the comments straight up stop showing, like at all. other than that its pretty cool i just wish it would work under popular tweets
Guilherme Diogo da “Guilherme” Rosa
it wasnt showing the button for the a few weeks, don't why, but now it is back again. One of the best extensions

Thanks for update
njabyss
Working as intended. Thanks for making this.
Matthew Stenzel
Very convenient, would be nice to have a setting to have the button match the dim and dark backgrounds though. It's a little jarring having that white button on every tweet
Pablo Pérez
X now asks for confirmation, can it be bypassed? Edit: It have been updated at the speed of light, you are doing God's work dude, thanks!
Xiaodong Liang (Tinier17)
Don't make user confirm block. It is not 1-click block.
Akira Leir
Simply perfect. I can only hope something like this but for Facebook pops up some day.
Laura (Youko)
Does what it says. Kept up to date.

It has been corrected. works perfectly.
Will T. "Habboi" Nicholls
Excellent tool, does what it advertises. Broke recently due to Twitter getting rid of the old URL redirection but was quickly fixed by the add on developer and went through approval for a day (gotta love waiting as a dev) and now works again, yay.
Tom Barrister
Simple and effective. When the change of Twitter's URL broke the extension, the author fixed it in a few hours (It took Google many more hours to approve it so that it could be posted).
mehmet soylu
please update it for x.com
isfeng
Hello, thank you for your development, I really like this extension, but it seems to not be working properly as of now (2024.5.18), Twitter has changed its domain name to x.com , could you update it? Thank you very much!
Christoph Schmidt (Chrischmi)
Worked very well on twitter.com. Unfortunately, they have changed their domain to x.com. The tool might need a little adaption to understand the new domain.
Mike _
Update needed to work with new url x.com
Pedro Coelho
Twitter has now begun a rollout for web devices where it no longer uses the twitter.com url but instead redirects to x.com. Extension needs updating to include the x.com domain in its permissions :)

would be nice to have a toggle option, and also a feature to ignore users that you follow. please :3

It does NOT show the button on the list of users who liked a Tweet, which is where I needed it. My tweets are getting spammed by likes from bots and right now I need to manually click each one to go to their profile, click the dropdown, block, go back to the list, do it for the next one, etc for sometimes 10+ accounts named "Layla" The description implies the button should show up on the list of likes but it does not. It has shown up in other places but not there. I really need an extension that puts a block button there specifically.
Stephen Dee
Best extension ever (today). I thought "I've just had it with all this troublesome blocking, I wonder if someone put together an extension to make it easy" and here it is. And it's exactly perfect! Thanks so much. Highly recommend!
Scarlett Ewald
its a quick and easy way to block, unfortunately the button does not show on your own list. also wish it had another feature to show how many people they follow as well
ToysnTunes
Love this add on! Is it possible to extend it to the People tab under the explore menu?
Sebastian Bodden
Works as it should. Safes a lot of time.
