- (2024-01-20) Varnit Professional: Dev has discontinued this addon after not updating its usability for past 10 years (don't go for date, go for UI and UX). No option for full-page bookmark manager by this addon (not overtaking the system bookmark URL). No dark theme yet, surviving on default white outdated theme. Doesn't even adopt the system or browser theme or even material theme. Cannot see bookmarks, number of bookmarks overall and folder wise and search. If you are using this, then there are better alternatives for bookmark manager. Chrome is itself outdated, edge browser or vivaldi browser or brave browser or librewolf browser are better alternatives with better bookmark manager. For someone like me, managing bookmarks over 40,000 with this extension is time wastage. Instead, I am using this after searching and using many bookmark manager addons, Bookmanize is a browser extension that helps users manage their bookmarks. https://bookmanize.github.io/ https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bookmanize-advanced-bookm/idbigcbhfbdclcbljcoopcjgkejaknnl
- (2023-12-11) Google User: Useless. It only opens up a bookmarks window. It can't actually help you organize your bookmarks. Not recommended (like virtually every other similar extension).
- (2023-11-23) Frank Conijn: The only positive thing about it is that its icon can be clicked directly rather than first having to click the three dots and then Bookmarks. But it is slow and it lacks a function to alphabetically rearrange the bookmarks.
- (2023-11-06) A.: The app looked to be just what I needed - a simple list of my bookmarks and folders which I could organize to my liking (since Chrome's bookmark UI sucks). After spending 10 minutes reorganizing a folder, I exited the app and went to check said folder only to realize that not only did none of the changes I made take effect, the app SOMEHOW completely messed up the order of how things were before. I wonder how such a simple app can mess up its SOLE function. Extremely disappointing, useless, and a complete waste of time. Edit: Also, I just found out that everything this app supposedly allows you to do is ALREADY available in the actual Chrome interface. Just search for: chrome://bookmarks/ Even more useless than I thought.
