IMDownloader is an extension to help you to download original image, video, reels, story and highlight for Instagram™ with one click, free and unlimited.
▣ You can download by using this extension:
● Image
● Video
● Story
● Highlights
● Reels
▣ The extension adds a download button to a suitable place on instagram interface. You can find the button;
● Under the image/video on homepage page.
● Top-right corner on story/highlight page.
● Hover image/video on profile detail page.
● Under the comments on post/reels detail page.
● Right side of reels page.
▣ Besides; if you right click over any image/video, You will see a menu item "Download | Downloader for Instagram™". You can start downloading by clicking this menu item.

▣ After installing, please reload all tabs for the extension to take effect. For issues/suggestions

I HAVE BEEN USING IT REGULARLY FOR SOME TIME AND I HAVE NOTICED IT DISAPPEARS FOR CONTROVERSIAL VIDEOS MEANING THE UTILITY HAS CENSORSHIP "BUILT IN" SO THIS IS NOT THE PREMIERE DOWNLOADER FOR INSTAGRAM. I AM HAPPY IT IS AVAILABLE BUT IT IS NOT THE ONLY DOWNLOADER AND YOU SHOULD NOT RELY ON IT. IT DOES DO A GOOD JOB ON IMAGES BUT FOR VIDEOS CANNOT TRUST IT TO ALWAYS WORK. Easy to use and gets the entire image. Some utilities only download part of the image. This one gets it ALL.

- My previous one (I used) had an EOL as it seems "IG saver, DL for instagram" was the name. Hope, this one fares better as per working goes this one seems okay.

- Just stopped working today! Please help fix this immediately. Update: 24 hours later the application stopped working and any instagram post does not open with error HTTPs 429!

- After the previous one I had stopped working, and was subsequently removed from the web-store, I found this one right away and it's made a great replacement. Only qualm so far is when downloading a set of images from a post, it will not remember the download location after the first image. If your last download folder was [downloads], then you select [downloads]-[ig]-[lego] as the first save, the next image in the pile will revert to [downloads]. I suspect the downloads dialog window is applied to all of the images prior to opening the first rather than calling it for each image. To get around this, save the first image then cancel the rest. Then click to download again and they will use the latest save destination.

- says images/videos go to the downloads folder, but cannot find them in downloads folder, or any folder, I have enabled in chrome settings as ask where to save before downloading, that doesnt happen either. you must have an option in the settings in the extension/app for users to select where the download can be saved to. other than that - smooth as butter - gets the work done.

- This may be intentional, or I missed a setting, but I am unable to download individual images from albums. Whether I use the download button or the right-click option the extension will only download the entire album. Which can be quite a hassle when I only need one image from it. If this is by design, I strongly feel you should add the ability to download individual images from albums. Otherwise, It's an excellent extension.
