  • (2025-01-18) tom chan: good but affect be seach suggestion ban. suggest adding a mode that directly scrap on user
  • (2024-12-17) Malcolm Steele: This barely works, can't scrape twitter data
  • (2024-12-12) Chandler Lofland: Neat concept and works great for short tweets, but anything longer than 280 characters gets cut off, and a lot of the users I need to scrape have longer tweets than that. If a solution for that can be reached I would use this all the time.
  • (2024-11-26) Richard Easther: This is good - EXCEPT and this is a BIG EXCEPT the "views" count in the view that shows all the scraped tweets omits any "k" symbols -- so 17k becomes 17 I am trying to quantify how much the changes in the twitter algorithm have changed engagement for a small project, so this is a bit of a show-stopper. Would love a fix :-)
  • (2024-11-12) Yuquan Liu: Works for small tasks, but the load data rate of 10s max is making it near impossible to scrape more than 500 something tweets. Please make the number more adjustable, potentially as text input!
  • (2024-10-05) David Xu: is there a repository? this almost works, but the twitter search seems to fail if your end month has <31 days, since it inputs the end day as 31 for all months regardless if its a valid date. ez fix, two lines max
  • (2024-09-09) cv !!: the extension works alright!! for large amount of tweets it messes up and finishes at random but for small tasks it's fine [also, it doesn't work right now..]
  • (2024-08-31) E Đờ Róp Hoàng: Look like X updated their search method
  • (2024-08-21) Lucky: Thank you for creating this, but unfortunately, it's not working at the moment. I followed the instructions in the video, but I'm still unable to fetch anything from X. Additionally, the instructions in the video don't fully align with the updated version of the addon. Regardless, even with the values provided, it's skipping directly to the results page without showing any data. Expecting update fix- ASAP :-)
  • (2024-07-10) Live Wire: Hii, This has been really helpful! Have you developed anything similar for LinkedIn? Please it would be extremely helpful!
  • (2024-06-15) shali Yfrimashvilly: fix it please, when you do the serach the since is braking the result. just need the work from or womtihig.
  • (2024-06-04) A W: Not working..Followed the instructions in the video but still can't fetch anything from X
  • (2024-05-31) John Kennedy: Fantastic. Three things. 1. Can you scrape liked tweets? 2. At 1 second rate limiting twitter killed it after 458 tweets. Any suggestions for the right rate limt? 3. My top tweets list doesn't seem to have links to originals. This would be nice.
  • (2024-05-21) eline engel: Have been using this scraper a lot for my thesis, and while it is really helpful, be mindful that it very often misses/skips a lot of the tweets within your timeframe. I had to run it three times over the same timeframe and gathered about 320 tweets more than when I ran it once (timeframe of just 3 months). Also, while it worked fine previously, the whole scraper suddenly gave out and I can't get it back to work. I have reinstalled it, used different accounts, emptied my cache/history, restarted my PC. I hope it works after a cooling-down period, but I sadly think it won't work. Hope it does! @Sam Sek, thanks for your reply, I do hope the 0.0.5 version should work. However, I don't see it in the chrome webstore yet, is that right?
  • (2024-04-29) Charise Lile: can you add scrape url? That will be perfect!
  • (2024-03-07) Reg Beresford: Works. scraped my tweets. Produced a CSV. Really nice UI etc - great work man. Thanks for that
  • (2024-03-06) Leonidas B: Works really well, the only problem is that it stops somewhere at 500 tweets, regardless the wait time, twitter creates a '429 Too Many Requests' error stating 'Rate limit exceeded'. It would be great to bypass this somehow.

  • (2023-11-28) Maxime Yao: Where is the donation button, this works amazing thank you 🤩
  • (2023-11-02) Inspired Earth: What a fantastic tool for scrapping Tweets. Works well. Even has a built in viewer for the results. A fairly significant issue I came across is the CSV seems to be invalid. Doesn’t render correctly in CSV tools (including Apple Numbers, and various CSV viewers I tried).

  • (2023-10-31) Zain V: Handy! But twitter doesn't allow you to set 2021-11-31 as a valid date for example. This means that the date selection for all months that don't go to 31 fail. Could you also alter it so specific date ranges can be entered as well (not just months)?

  • (2023-08-02) Tomáš Konopásek: Very useful! Unfortunately, it does not allow to set a more precise time period. That would be a lifesaver, because if you are looking for some tweets publsihed lets say one year ago, it gets very laggy (seems like X is actually restricting how much tweets you can see) and you are not able to reach the desired tweets. If this function would be added + URL of the tweet / tweet ID, then its 5 stars!
