The plugin allows you to freely edit the background color and text in the label of Gmail emails. In the future, it is planned to add the option to also add the option to set the gradient. The settings and changes on the website will take place and refresh themselves.

- Love the idea of this but couldn't get it to work and it's not worth spending a ton of time on it to try to get it to function properly, particularly when others (like the one linked in Peter Scriven's reply) work immediately upon installation.

- Not sure if this extension is still supported as it simply doesn't work. :( Edit: Changing to four stars (March 2025) as it now works really well! The main limitation I've noticed is custom label colours only show in list view and still appear in the default grey when you click into an email. If that can be sorted, I will happily change my review to five stars. Credit to the developer for his positive and personal responses to reviews!

- This extension does the job, but I found it a bit clunky - particularly the need for separate configuration page. I ended up writing my own extension using a simpler approach. - I've tried everything I can't get it working. Chrome up to date, Windows 10 up to date Created new label(s), filtered and filter tested, saved label in the extension, label retains original colour What have I missed? Later edit, it worked once briefly then stopped, I have no idea why, frustrating because I really wanted a way to customise labels.

- Really wish there was more info about this app. I see an option to import settings but I'm not sure if that will take my current gmail label settings or not. Need more info here.
