Auto maximize a Chrome tab when it is dragged out into a new window.
Chrome released a new version on April 1, 2022 which changed the behavior of dragging out a tab into a new window/monitor. When you drag a tab out into a new window, it stays small and no longer maximizes to fill the screen.
This Chrome extension aims to bring back the old behavior.
Specifically, this extension does the following:
- If the window is maximized, and you drag a tab out into a new window then it'll maximize the new window as well.
- If the window was not maximized to begin with, then the new window after dragging out a tab will not be maximized.
- Supports dragging out multiple tabs at once.
This extension does not require any additional permissions.
This extension does not track or store any user data.

- Can you please make it so it works when dragging MULTIPLE tabs as well!!? It works fantastic with just 1 tab, but I am often dragging at least 2-3 tabs at once that I have preselected/highlighted with the Ctrl key or Shift keys and my mouse. will change to 5 star if you can enable it to work with MULTIPLE tabs.

- As others said, you still need to drag down from the windows bar, then drag it once more to maximize the window. Does not function as intended. You should be able to pull down from windows bar without performing any further actions to maximize the window.

- You have to click, hold, then drag to make it work. Still slows me down and I can't quite understand why it works that way. But, since Google removed the feature, this will have to suffice, I suppose.
