Multi Find: Highlight Multiple Words at Once on Any Webpage
Searching for several terms at once shouldn't mean running the same search over and over. Multi Find lets you highlight multiple words, phrases, or fragments simultaneously, each in a distinct and customizable color, so you can scan any webpage at a glance without losing context.
Built for researchers, analysts, students, and professionals who work with dense content every day.
Key Features

- This is a fantastic tool. It is an intuitive interface and has made my academic research that much easier. When I had issues Vincent was incredibly quick to respond even though it was a user error issue. I highly recommend using Multi Find.

- Incredibly helpful tool. Love the ability to choose/change the colour highlights and hide different search terms without removing them.

- Excellent productivity tool. I've been a developer for 30 years and this is brilliant for making those tedious rote tasks less tedious! AI can't do everything for us just yet, and until it can this is cool utility.

- I installed the extension in chrome and when I press the icon of the extension it gives me the following error even though I restarted the browser: "⚠️Warning Multi Find is working, but cannot interact with this page. If you have just installed the extension, try reloading the page. If the problem persists, this page is not compatible: open another one."

- One of the Best Plugins in chrome. Is it open Source, how can we contribute to Features for community...
- Árpád Őrfi
- Functionality-wise, it is brilliant! Super feature set, works great! Speed-wise, I am not sure yet, but based on first impressions, it is somewhat slow, i.e. page load/display sometimes is (much) slower (on long web pages). Altogether, I am impressed by this gem - thank you!

- The current version is broken. Clicking the extension clears the match count. It only scans and highlights the visible viewport instead of the full page. Earlier versions worked correctly and scanned the entire page. Please fix this regression or restore the previous stable version.
- David Groß
- great! But the window is way too big. There needs to be an option for a very little window with just < and > buttons to scroll through the hits. Please

- It doesn't really work now... I tried clicking on the extension for more than 3 times, even unpinned it, and then clicked it, but still, not being responsive.

- I was looking for a universal tool for searching text on web pages, and Multi Find is definitely the best one I've found. The flashing highlight of the searched phrase is a killer feature; there's no chance of missing anything in the jungle of colorful text and images!

- Really great extension! I can't stand the Find feature built into chrome & firefox, so this came up when I searched for an alternative. The thing I like most is that find will persist if the page changes/reloads, whereas the built-in feature, you have to keep restarting the find. 5-star! Merci Vincent!

- Is it a PAIN to use in AI Studio, too much lag and black screen in extreme long pages.

- NOTHING like this Extension to search & highlight multiple words. Simply cannot do without it!
- piere Gasley
- Amazing tool
- Paul P
- This is really helpful and works well. I do wish though that the scroll arrows on the side could somehow be more definitive re where the word concerned is eg, if I'm looking for a word in a grid of times for sale, there is no way of telling which grid item contains the word, if that word is not at the beginning of the item description. In these circumstances, the extension is not helpful at all.

- is it possible to do like: "find all" in excel? cause i'm working on each filter in gmail and modifying it. so need to resume back at a new place each time. today position find 5 of 120.

- This has stopped working recently on LinkedIn in the jobs section, which is where I primarily use it. The pages will not fully load while the multi find is turned on. I can turn it on after the page loads to see the highlights, but then the links on the page won't work. Please fix -- this extension cuts my job search time by hours!

- Terrible app, doesn't work😭😭🙏 literally what Barney Pitt said is 100% correct. "Easy Highlight - Automatic Keyword Highlight" actually works.

- Doesn't work (Brave). The button is greyed out on more than 50% of sites, and does nothing. Even when it is not greyed out, often the button does nothing.

- Asked it to read a page containing a video transcript (that was copy/paste-able) and contained multiple references to the phrase I asked it to find. It returned ZERO results. Doesn't work.

- waipapa eyecare
- This is one of the best addons we use, has made my staffs life so much easier selecting the correct option when ordering from our suppliers site that is over flowing with lots of similarly listed products! Stops so many errors from happening.
- Maniz Wong
- I find this extension very helpful for my daily work. I really need to find similar wordings when I browse various pages. However, I just think whether I can exclude certain websites that I don't want to execute Multi-find, e.g. Whatsapp Web. It disturb my chat when I type messages. Also, when I type new text in a textbox to revise my search MS Edge, e.g. Bing, the previously highlighted text hasn't shifted along with my typing. And the highlighted text has overlaid my newly typed text such that I cannot see what I am typing. Another problem found today (20250602), when I print the selected part of a webpage to PDF, the highlight is shown in the PDF but I don't expect it to be done. The highlight is personal but I don't want anyone know my Multi-find highlights. So far I cannot find a way to disable such highlighting effect for selected text printing, but it showed normally when I haven't selected any text for printing. (I am mainly a Google Chrome user)

- have been using it for profiles keywords search and gotta say its fantastic
- Ravi Jayaraman
- Excellent extension, but works only 2 days in chrome as well as Edge. Not highlighting in the HTML text box for my transcription work.
- Juney Chen
- All good but why removed highlight within editable box? That's necessary to be an option to toggle.
- Shaun P
- Great EXCEPT for one thing. The rows with the words to look for are a different height than the row count, therefore they do not lineup :(
- Maersk Office
- This tool is the best, but most of the time the extension doesn't open.
- Shantanu Biswas
- Brilliant idea and neat execution with the list of words that can be used to be found across a webpage or document (Google docs) using a browser.
- Nathan IceSea (IceSea)
- Idea is pretty neat, is there any plan to introduce regex match?
- Mike
- AMAZING!!!!!!!!! without this tool I cant study!!!! created lets make a video about this! :) whats ur ig or good email...
- Ciprian A (Cipriux)
- Very good extensions, but can you add a black list for certain websites? For example if the words are found in ChatGPT tab, the tab just freezes completely
- Gustavo Tontini
- Fantastic tool! This is helping to streamline some processes in our workflow, and is very handy. 2 suggestions: 1- I notice the tool doesn't handle with sub/superscript. It would be nice if that was fixed. 2- It would be good to have an option to pre-set the colours to different "groups" of words instead of them being randomly assigned and having to change manually (or at least the option to select multiple lines and change the colour of all at once)
- Foonfuff
- Seems to work great, actually! Took a bit to realize how different colored highlights work, but now that I found it I feel a bit dumb (I tried to find a way change the words' colors when just separated by the | and didn't try to enter a new line XD), it works fine for me!
