Then it stopped letting me change me settings, everything setting was stuck on and even changing which settings tab I was on would reset all settings. And then one day I did a routine cleaning of my cookies and it bricked everything. Does not work at all, in the slightest.. Tried everything I could think of, even removed and re-added it, nothing. If it starts working again I'll change this review, but as of now just doesn't function.

  I seem to have the newest version of the youtube UI, and, currently, the addon hides every section of my subscriptions until it finally hits the 2 years ago section, which renders normally. Ends up with a bunch of hr elements condensed together into a gray rectangle then the 2 yrs ago videos.

  Doesn't work at all. In fact it removes every video from the entire subscription feed. The few times I can get it to work - it removes any video that's not from 'today' and squishes the entire feed over to the left by 2 rows. Even then it only "works" after I already went through and manually removed all the shorts using Youtube's hide feature. Which sort of defeats the entire purpose. Was working perfectly fine, doing exactly what it was supposed to. Then all of a sudden it asked for extra permissions and stopped working once they were granted. Pretty sketchy honestly.

It's a bigger shame that Google label their permissions for poorly lol The new update is amazing, the fact that shorts are hidden before the page renders and we no longer even see a slight glimpse of them is pure bliss.   Extension is back to not hiding shorts after just a week or so. I'm not sure if the issue is on development side or if youtube is is making it harder to block shorts, but the recent controversial decision to require browsing data (and saying "it makes a better user experience" is a very vague and evasive explanation for it) makes me think it's the extension that's broken.

This is such a bad issue that I am not using the add on until it is fixed. Also, your notifications need work too. I got the same exact notification several times. I've already read that you've fixed some bugs, I don't need to read the same update daily.

  Live streams create the same kind of clutter (and just annoy me) in my subscription feed as shorts. The same for many other people. There doesn't seem to be any way to hide them. So it would be great if you added this function to this extension (and i guess changed the name of it) or made another for that purpose. Though it should be separate from premieres.

  Since some days ago the hiding of shorts in the subscription feed stopped working even though the option is enabled. I tried turning it off and on to no effect.

  function hideShorts() causes high CPU usage on a perfectly stale page. Check with performance tab Chrome Dev tools (6 seconds of total JS usage from 10 second performance trace) Probably you should make it reactive some other way than doing heavy CPU stuff so frequently. For the time being I can't use this useful extension as it eats one CPU core all the time while Youtube is open as a page.
