A chess extension that can
- Highlight the best move using stockfish 🐟
- Show the evaluation bar 💯
- Show openings explorer 🥾
- Highlight enemy pieces under attack 🟩
- Highlight friendly pieces under attack 🟥
- Highlight squares controlled by the enemy🟧
- Change the engine depth 🎚️
- Calculate moves extra fast with bullet mode 🚀
- Human mode 👩 (Stockfish will make mistakes like a human)
- Hand and brain mode 🧠 (Stockfish will tell you which piece to move, but not where)
- Toggle the extension off an on with ctrl + v
- Toggle best move off and on with ctrl + b (Note: even if best move is on, the extension needs to be running in order for it to be displayed)
How to get better using this extension:
1. Improve your board vision by highlighting enemy and friendly pieces under attack
2. Get better at openings by training with the openings explorer
3. Increase your tactical awareness by training with the evaluation bar. A sudden jump in the evaluation bar means there is now a tactic that you can play!
4. Improve your tactics and overall play with hand and brain mode!
Instructions For Use
------------------------------------
1. Start a chess game
2. Click on the extension to launch the pop up menu
3. Click on the start button on the pop up menu to activate the extension and start highlighting squares. If you wish to stop highlighting squares, click on the pause button.
4. Toggle the sliders to control which squares you would like to highlight, and select the colours that you would like to use.
5. Enjoy!

- (2023-08-17) Cristian Alexandru: Easy to use addon, very reliable and fast. learning chess has never been so easier than now. you can take your time thinking of the best moves and the aid guides though victory. i have mercy with my opponents' and i use the app half of the time. i try to combine my skills with the app so i can learn openings and tricks much easier. the pro version is even more better with functions like "Human mode" where the aid makes small mistakes, like we human do. overall the Pro version is the best to have, and it`s super affordable. i highly recommend this app for anyone who wants to train in the ways of chess to have fun.

- (2023-05-22) Perdu: Hey, I was looking for an extension that highlights all squares I am attacking/controlling at once for any given position, as a visual aid for better understanding moves when practicing advanced endgames/forced checkmates. Your extension is perfect in that it already provides a "controlled by enemy" option exactly like this, but with the added ability to make color/opacity adjustments. Adding a highlighted squares "controlled by self" option could improve the extension's personalization/customization, and its overall versatility as a visualization aid. Please add this option!

- (2023-03-10) Nate Wiger: Very help extension for learning to play chess and spot attacks. I only use it to play against the computer for the purposes of learning. I've found it's very helpful seeing blind spots in my own play style and learning to spot patterns in piece positioning. As a request, I wish there was an alternate visual representation such as showing arrows that notate which squares are under attack by what pieces. A blind spot for me still is long-range bishop attacks and this extension doesn't always help with those. Thanks for creating this!
