• (2023-09-16) Fox MacDonald: As previously mentioned, there is still a blank section with the heading 'Shorts', but it removes the actual shorts which is enough for me and makes it look a lot cleaner. Shorts are an absolutely terrible idea and just to see Google feature this addon is just brilliant! ^-^

• (2023-07-14) Lan Dius: Probably one of my most used extensions. As of recently, YouTube has updated to include Shorts in a bar that's smack right in the middle of the Subscriptions tab. And while the extension does block the videos themselves, it doesn't block the highly intrusive Shorts bar. If possible, can this be updated to block the whole bar? Thanks! The only jarring thing about using this extension is that it leaves "holes" of nothing where the shorts would be when scrolling through my subscription section. Still a substantial improvement as I prefer seeing that instead of shorts. Many thanks to the developer.

But am I to take it that this is only due to the updates? once updates happen we get the new tab and thats it? I hope so. great work! Can you make an extension that specifically blocks youtube mini player from opening? My kids have found a way around some things by hovering over the thumbnail to watch the videos, or add them to the queue and the mini player opens and plays them. Any way to make extension to just stop the mini player from working? :D thanks
