  • (2025-03-10) 嚻Hinaw: best tab extension but need more customize option plz A local storage mode should be added. Otherwise, network latency will cause slow page loading, greatly affecting the experience each time. I can't add RSS feeds by myself. It is suggested that the price of the upgrade service be reduced to sell more at a lower profit margin. Add the option to change the background Add custom api interfaces for ai
  • (2025-02-11) Aymen: Great extension for productivity! But two more things are missing... Settings: add a button to minimize animations for lower computers. Tab: add a switch option to let people choose wether they like all tabs open in a new windows or the current window
  • (2025-01-21) Maykenca: This is a good app but I would prefer if it didn't take up my "new tab" space since I already have another extension that I use for that. It would be better for me if you could just access it in pinned extensions.
  • (2025-01-19) Terrence-Monroe: Brannon: THIS IS THE BEST: I have tried EVERYTHING ELSE: workona, tabs outliner, linkmap, braintool, toby, Stackingly (or whatever it was called), raindrop. But this actually beats them all for productivity and aesthetics. I thought I was never going to find anything this awesome. But finally I have!
  • (2025-01-13) Swapnil Jain: Best tab management tool. Few things can be improved: 1 Better themes. Dark theme is too dark, impacts readability. 2. Ability to link a desktop inside another desktop. 3. Side panel feels very bloated. Should have ability to remove tabs or better organizing capability. 4. Custom background of different desktop. 5. Unable to scroll and access desktops from dock if I have more than 15 desktop. 6. Ability to change the font size in docs
  • (2025-01-06) Alberto MC: I love it way more than TabExtend. The design is sleek and intuitive. With TabExtend you are stuck with the column/kanban view. But with TabOS you can truly customize it to be the same OR uniquely adjust the windows and different views it has. You can also go into the settings and make it work how you like to work. For example I like to keep 'One click open', 'Open links in new tab', 'Expand current window on start' , & 'Expand current window when opening sidebar' settings ON and keep 'Jump to opened tab' and 'Hide dock' settings OFF. Plus you get a lot more useful features with TabOS, like real documents/notes with proper formatting, RSS feeds, AI Chatbots, and a lot more goodies. That said TabExtend does have a lot of better quality of life updates and features that TabOS could easily have as well but TabExtend is just more popular at the moment. You TabExtend fans need to hop on the TabOS platform because it is truly better you NORMIES!!

  • (2024-12-30) Joe McCarthy: Mainly using it for the tab clearing/saving ability. The free level is generous, and this is the first extension I've tried out of MANY that actually does exactly what I want and works without hassle. As long as I'm logged in, I can see my folders with all my tabs grouped and saved as various collections. It's accessible from any computer and makes it so easy to save or cull excessive tabs in a matter of seconds. I know it can do other stuff but I've not had a play with that yet, though it looks potentially very useful too. Great job devs
  • (2024-12-04) Ashish Alexander: - cannot disable custom home page - cannot name windows - cannot search tab names in folder. you have to search from another place.
  • (2024-07-07) Сергей Друзь: Not working in Arc Browser. I saw the tutorial addon is s*cks.
  • (2024-07-02) Tay: I was testing several tab management tools to organise my workflow. Being familiar with tabextend, I decided to give tabOS a try. Boy ol boy, it blew my mind away so much so that I quit using Sidekick and Arc. that's how good it is. Highly recommended!
  • (2024-05-21) Pasquale Riefoli: This extensions has a lot of potential! Could I ask you a couple of features for the free version if possible? 1 - 3 desktops? (pretty please) 2 - filter and "group/add to a folder" pages coming from the same website (similar to google filters) e.g. I open a lof of pages from the same website but they always endup in several windows (eg. Amazon? Ebay? Github? etc) would be cool to find and filter pages in all tabs/windows -> Group them together 3 - (connected to the above) once all the pages are grouped (and to be honest even in the same window) would be cool to remove duplicated tabs. it happens multiple time that I have exactly the same page in multiple windows, so removing duplicates (or least identifying them) on pages that don't have active forms/replied open would be fantastic!
  • (2024-02-04) Hilman Cahyono: tabos is the best tool in my purchase. Compared to other applications, Tabos is something I always use because my work is connected to a web browser. thank you tabOS, organizing websites has become easier, my work has become more effective.
  • (2024-01-28) Shaun P: I wanted to love this extension. It seemed stable and robust, the layout is nice and and the concept is pretty slick, but the added value over what Chrome can already do is minimal (e.g. sidebar + tab grouping). The pricing is pretty high, likely due to the integrated AI, so it only make sense if you are replacing a ChatGPT Plus or CoPilot Pro subscription. The embedded ChatGPT widget is nicely done, but failed to generate a response when I tried a large prompt that worked on the official site. Moreover, a tabOS new tab can consume a lot of memory... a new tab with the ChatGPT widget consumed 1.2GB! I applaud the effort put into this extension, and I'm sure there are many who will love it. If you have not tried it, I see no reason not to, but overall it missed the mark for me.
  • (2024-01-04) John Gomeringer: I've been following along from the beginning with TabExtend, and it's been quite an interesting journey. This dev gets our needs and has a vision. I would imagine he's going to take this to the next level before too long. Looking forward to seeing that happen and what that looks like. Till then enjoying Tab Extend and TabOS. Seriously, try the free version. If you like it upgrade.
  • (2024-01-02) Farhan Harun: Transitioning from TabExtend to TabOS, I initially anticipated a simple upgrade. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that TabOS is much more than just an enhanced version of its predecessor. TabOS serves as a comprehensive "operating system" within the Chrome browser, offering an extensive range of features beyond mere bookmarking. The extension's versatility, user-friendly interface, and robust performance make it a worthwhile investment for those considering an upgrade from TabExtend to TabOS. I highly recommend exploring the multitude of tools and capabilities that TabOS has to offer.
  • (2023-12-29) sturmx96: This extension is amazing. The most beautiful and easy to use tab manager so far. My only wish is to have at least an option not to open it in every new tab, I'd rather have the manager tab pinned and have my favourite links open in the new tab. The biggest downturn is the subscription model, I remember I had an email once about lifetime purchase for 59$ when it was in beta but I thought it was quite expensive for a tab manager extension, considering that more features packed Eagle app for designers costs twice less. Therefore I’m switching to Raindrop as you can create as many groups and collections as you wish, the only nuisance is that it doesn't suppport tab groups, since it's a bookmark manager rather than a tab manager.

  • (2023-12-02) Shijor S: As a user of tabOS, I've been thoroughly impressed by its innovative approach to browser productivity. The integration of streamlined document handling and effortless bookmark management transforms the browsing experience. With the ability to work on different tasks side-by-side, tabOS has significantly boosted my efficiency. The intuitive desktops, organized folders, and accessible dock features are game-changers, ensuring all my essential tools are just a click away. The one-click install is a breeze. I highly recommend tabOS to anyone looking to enhance their browsing and productivity without any hassle.

  • (2023-12-01) Kuri Tsusakayue (穢君yuo): UI is very beautiful! It is also very convenient to use and operate. Looking forward to the updates later. But I would like to know if the teacher of the production team will add a language module in the future to facilitate the use of users in other countries and regions...awwww
  • (2023-11-29) Kritcha Banthunthanasan: A very robust and elegant tool for managing bookmarks and even more. This turns my ordinary browser into an operating system that helps me organize my resources, and improve my overall experience and productivity in one go.
  • (2023-11-27) Abdul Latheef Mohamed: Absolutely loving the tabOS Chrome extension! This is a game-changer for anyone who, like me, juggles multiple projects and needs to keep their digital workspace clean and organized. The ability to create cloud-based desktops tailored to my specific needs has skyrocketed my productivity. I can seamlessly manage all my tabs and group them into relevant categories, which means no more digging through a chaotic browser to find that one tab I left open. The keyboard shortcuts are super handy – I've memorized a few like ⌘D to discard tabs I'm done with. One of the best parts is the drag-and-drop functionality, making it incredibly intuitive to arrange my workspace. Plus, the one-click install was a breeze – no signup hoops to jump through, and it's free forever! The design elements are also top-notch. Whether I'm looking at my tabs in grid, card, or list view, everything is visually pleasing and easy to navigate. If you're tired of cluttered browser windows and losing track of essential tabs, tabOS is definitely worth trying out. It's like having an extra layer of organization that adapts to your workflow, rather than forcing you to adapt to it. Five thumbs up!
  • (2023-10-19) Marty Wyrding: I got Tabextend when it was first available and loved it. Tabos expands on the capabilities and makes for an even easier time organizing and accessing all my bookmarks and important web apps from anywhere at anytime. There are a few options out there for tab and bookmark organization, but this one is the best I've found.

  • (2023-09-25) Robin Griggs Wood: Not a fan. When opening a window via this extension, it automatically readjusts the size of the window to full width with no option to change that in the settings. How stupid is that in this day and age when we have such large monitors? That right there is the primary reason I am removing this directly. I can't believe the developer wants people to pay for this extension. Other problems: When accessing TabOS via a new tab, you see the set of tabs in the window that you are in, but there is no way to rename any of the window tab groups that you have open unless you create a folder. When I tested that, creating a folder and adding my tabs from one window, it closed all of those tabs! So, organizing with this extension is useless because there are so few options in the settings to change this extension's annoying behaviour. When I went to open all of those tabs again (because they are the ones I use every day for work), TabOS didn’t honor any of the tab groups I had made in Chrome. They were all gone and I had to rebuild from scratch. It really seems to be only a glorified "bookmarks" manager, but it isn't a very good one and I don’t see its worth over any other tab manager out there.

  • (2023-05-12) Shaun Dave Rozario: TabExtend was brilliant and a breath of fresh air when it launched, but it had a bottleneck of not allowing deep nested structures as it was not scalable. Gustav went back to the drawing board and came back with this little gem called TabOS which looks modern and highly versatile for the various uses one might have organizing their everyday working tabs. If you're a tab hog, surely get this. It will change the way you work and view life on a web browser.

Based on my interaction with Gustav, I am confident that many more exciting features are on the horizon.
