- (2025-01-06) Alberto MC: I love it way more than TabExtend. The design is sleek and intuitive. With TabExtend you are stuck with the column/kanban view. But with TabOS you can truly customize it to be the same OR uniquely adjust the windows and different views it has. You can also go into the settings and make it work how you like to work. For example I like to keep 'One click open', 'Open links in new tab', 'Expand current window on start' , & 'Expand current window when opening sidebar' settings ON and keep 'Jump to opened tab' and 'Hide dock' settings OFF. Plus you get a lot more useful features with TabOS, like real documents/notes with proper formatting, RSS feeds, AI Chatbots, and a lot more goodies. That said TabExtend does have a lot of better quality of life updates and features that TabOS could easily have as well but TabExtend is just more popular at the moment. You TabExtend fans need to hop on the TabOS platform because it is truly better you NORMIES!!
- (2023-12-29) sturmx96: This extension is amazing. The most beautiful and easy to use tab manager so far. My only wish is to have at least an option not to open it in every new tab, I'd rather have the manager tab pinned and have my favourite links open in the new tab. The biggest downturn is the subscription model, I remember I had an email once about lifetime purchase for 59$ when it was in beta but I thought it was quite expensive for a tab manager extension, considering that more features packed Eagle app for designers costs twice less. Therefore I’m switching to Raindrop as you can create as many groups and collections as you wish, the only nuisance is that it doesn't suppport tab groups, since it's a bookmark manager rather than a tab manager.
- (2023-10-19) Marty Wyrding: I got Tabextend when it was first available and loved it. Tabos expands on the capabilities and makes for an even easier time organizing and accessing all my bookmarks and important web apps from anywhere at anytime. There are a few options out there for tab and bookmark organization, but this one is the best I've found.
- (2023-10-11) وائل الساعدي: In my opinion, tabOS is superior to tabExtend when it comes to easy bookmark organization.
- (2023-09-25) Robin Griggs Wood: Not a fan. When opening a window via this extension, it automatically readjusts the size of the window to full width with no option to change that in the settings. How stupid is that in this day and age when we have such large monitors? That right there is the primary reason I am removing this directly. I can't believe the developer wants people to pay for this extension. Other problems: When accessing TabOS via a new tab, you see the set of tabs in the window that you are in, but there is no way to rename any of the window tab groups that you have open unless you create a folder. When I tested that, creating a folder and adding my tabs from one window, it closed all of those tabs! So, organizing with this extension is useless because there are so few options in the settings to change this extension's annoying behaviour. When I went to open all of those tabs again (because they are the ones I use every day for work), TabOS didn’t honor any of the tab groups I had made in Chrome. They were all gone and I had to rebuild from scratch. It really seems to be only a glorified "bookmarks" manager, but it isn't a very good one and I don’t see its worth over any other tab manager out there.

- (2023-05-15) Rachie Ling: I got Tabextend to solve my issue when using multiple websites. The websites are now neatly sorted into the section I wanted. It is very easy to use. And now with TabOS, it gives me the accessibility to use it anywhere.

- (2023-05-12) Shaun Dave Rozario: TabExtend was brilliant and a breath of fresh air when it launched, but it had a bottleneck of not allowing deep nested structures as it was not scalable. Gustav went back to the drawing board and came back with this little gem called TabOS which looks modern and highly versatile for the various uses one might have organizing their everyday working tabs. If you're a tab hog, surely get this. It will change the way you work and view life on a web browser.

Easily allows me to organise and manage my tabs across multiple windows and device, really a big time saver both when it comes to work and private browsing. It's clear that a lot of thought and effort went into designing it, as it's very seamless and "easy to get". It skillfully incorporates numerous great concepts from its predecessors and presents them in a visually appealing manner. I must also commend Gustav, the developer, for being extremely responsive and helpful throughout my experience with this extension. Based on my interaction with Gustav, I am confident that many more exciting features are on the horizon.
