There is no indicator that shows that it is recording - it would be useful to do it the other way around. For example, to record only when you press the button and stop when you press stop. Because now you have to turn it off and it works not intuitively :/ - It is on all the time without sense. Let the actions happen after pressing the buttons and not non-stop - because it disturbs. Alternatively, select the work mode for different people in the settings.

I use ChatGPT a ton and this just added a whole new dimension to the experience by being able to actually converse with the AI without typing everything. I played with it and immediately sent in a well earned $30. donation to support the efforts of the developer. Only one small enhancement I hope he will add and that is a "resume" word that is separate from the "pause" word. I would love to be able to say "Pause" and have it listen for the word "Resume" (or whatever word). That would be awesome.

I am trying to learn how to code. I am focusing on SQL and Python. It would help a lot if you could provide more options for how it deals with punctuation! In an ideal world, it would continue to handle punctuation as it currently does except for when it encounters a code block. It should be possible to set it so that it reads all punctuation only when it is reading a code block. It would be great to have options for verbalizing cases and verbalizing formatting.   Unfortunately OpenAI have updated ChatGPT and broken the current version of Talk-to-ChatGPT (2.6.X). A new version v2.7.0 has been submitted to the Chrome Extension store but is currently pending approval. Currently, the new version can only be installed manually from the project home page. More information and status page is available there too. Appreciate your understanding if you would refrain from submitting 1-star reviews before the fix has been approved and that you are able to give this a proper try. Unfortunately there is not much more we can do when OpenAI decide to update ChatGPT and break extensions like ours. Due to the approval process by Google it always takes several days to get a fix up and running to everyone.

  I have just installed the plugin. Seems like a great idea. On settings I have the "Automatic send" option set. So, I expect my prompt to be sent when I stop talking. What I see happening is: - Voice prompt recognized and written on the Send a message textbox after I stop talking. - the Send Icon on the right, usually green turns to a pink color - the message is not sent - I click on the pink button and still doesn't send - Only way I've found to send is pressing Enter twice. The first time, cursor drops to next line, the Icon turns green but message is still not sent. On second time pressing enter the message is sent. Then answer comes back and is read correctly. Am I missing something about the Send Automatically function? Thanks.

That way i can choose how long I am able to pause within a sentence. Sometimes it starts to answer before I finish my question. And I like the handsfree auto send but it would be awesome if there was a way to set the time-out to a custom time. This would make it perfect for hands free conversations.

When I asked GPT for the population of Tokyo, the Text to Speech read the following text like this: "Tokyo, Japan - with a population of approximately 37."   mi sugerencia va en la seccion que empieza a leer el codigo creo que esta podria tener solo simplemente la opcion de salta el campo de codigo en el dictado. eso tambien me lleva al otro punto yo logre refinar la velocidad de respuesta el pitch en la voz,. y con la opcion de pausar la conversacion, y detenere el prompt la posibilidad de que se pueda cerrar el microfono o la salida de audio. esto se vuelve interesante. lo que parece hacer perder mas control de todo en si es el hecho de tener que frenarlo para que empiece a leer la ultima salida, o sea: 1 una opcion para detener la salida con un comando de voz 2 una forma de saltear la lectura de codigo 3 y si se puede un comando para el stop regenerate saludos me gustaria ayudar si de algo sirvo felicitaciones por tu extencion me hizo pensar en el potencial de esta si otros navegadores como opera o firefox la soportaran suerte y felicitaciones otra vez

  This is a very good extension. Thank you. However, when I speak on the microphone and make a slight pause, the extension immediately puts a dot or a question mark after the word, even though I have not completed my sentence. It makes the microphone unusable. Please note that ChatGPT does not care about punctuations at the end of sentences. please remove those punctuations. Those punctuations are not that important to ruin the whole experience. Instead of those punctuations please put a space so people like me can complete their sentence. That's exactly how built in microphone of Microsoft Windows, Samsung keyboard and Gboard work. Thanks again
