  • (2023-09-21) Jon Kennedy: Catches me by surprise sometimes, and yeah, conditioned to it too. It's the silly things in life sometimes.
  • (2023-08-23) Rowan Hamilton: I've had this extension on my computer since I was 12. I am nearly 21 now and can tell you it's just as funny as it was 9 years ago. It's successfully conditioned me to replace the word butt with the word cloud in my head. This is not limited to the internet, either. For 9 years now I have had the pleasure of experiencing what I refer to as "real-life cloud-to-butt moments" wherein I see the word butt in the real world and think to myself, "that actually says cloud because of the chrome extension." 10/10 Extension, you should all get it.
  • (2023-05-15) Aaron H: For nearly a decade, I've found myself wholly engaged with this browser extension. It remains, without a shadow of a a doubt, the pinnacle of my software interactions. It's brilliance lies in the subtlety of its operation, effortlessly enhancing my browsing experience when I least expect it. It has become such an integral part of my life that it's hard to recall the primordial times before I was privileged to profit from its existence. In fact I often find myself wondering if the worlds data storage habits have changed and people moved towards storing data in their butts. I certainly wouldn't be surprised. Maybe thats a testament to the extension's unparalleled ability to reshape the perception of social norms? I wouldn't know.

  • (2020-09-25) Bear: I've been using this for almost 6 years. Easily my favorite extension. I forget about it.. and then the inevitable butt shows up, and I'm always delighted by it. Do take care to remember this extension if a website isn't working how you'd expect. It's been the culprit for one or two for me, but nothing I use frequently, so toggling it off and on isn't a big deal.
  • (2020-08-14) PlainBagle: grayfruit told me about it
  • (2020-07-21) Roman Novitski: the extension that keeps on giving. had it installed for years so I tend to forget about it, today I was reading about visible light and false coloring when: "The very slight contrasts visible in true color are greatly exaggerated here, making it easier to studying Uranus' butt structure. Here, Uranus reveals a dark polar hood surrounded by a series of progressively lighter concentric bands. One possible explanation is that a brownish haze or smog, concentrated over the pole, is arranged into bands by zonal motions of the upper atmosphere."

  • (2019-12-05) LOVE IT!! But why doesn't it work on the Chrome Web Store page?
  • (2019-11-19) Serguei Khasimkhanov: BUG: When you edit a file directly on Github (e.g. README.md), it replaces cloud->butt IN THE TEXT EDIT BOX.
  • (2019-11-11) Sam Sheffer: As others have stated, I always forget this is on. Until I read an unexpected butt. It's amazing. Everyone points out the obvious technology applications, but this extension makes the daily weather something spectacular. I love waking up to scattered butts, or a good ole day of butts and sun.
  • (2019-06-24) Daniel (Daniel): butt
  • (2018-12-10) isaac fernandes: Great. I recommend changing "cloudy" to "booty." Ex. Booty with a chance of meatballs.

  • (2018-10-25) zot171: Always good for yuks. Consistently recommend to everyone.
  • (2018-09-01) Elise M: Personal Favorite headlines: "Tax Planning Lives in my Butt" "Infographic: A Journey To My Butt" "What Is "my Butt" — and Where Is It?"
  • (2018-08-09) SeaworthyRocket: There's absolutely no reason to have this. It has made the internet much more enjoyable.
  • (2018-06-15) Carmo: It converts "the cloud" to "my butt". It's funny how mammatus is a cloud that looks like a butt, and there's this extension.

  • (2018-02-15) T Mst: I was just notified of an error. Seems that Buttflare is having a problem. Now I'm trying hard to get everything possible out of my butt.
  • (2018-01-15) Alex Roberts: This is often HILARIOUS. I love reading a technical manual aloud at work. I often forget its there until there's a "huh?!" moment then everyone busts out laughing...

  • (2017-08-21) J.M. Janzen: Great plugin, but one of the links is broken: https://github.com/hank/butt-to-butt - there is no repo of this name. ;p
  • (2017-08-14) Saltssaumure: A hilarious extension, though it also changes URLs in pages, breaking the link.
  • (2017-08-04) everything will be fire: I love this app so much. Always makes my day a little goofier and little happier. Just don't write 'cloud' in any of your documents, or you might end up printing something you didn't intend to like I almost did for my school project...
  • (2017-07-28) Richard Montalvo: This is the kind of plugin you forget about completely... until one day when you're looking up something for a webserver and decide, after much deliberation and many giggles, that you're going to install "ButtLinux" to your server, or even looking up reviews trashing the freaking emoji movie, and you find a paragraph explaining the adventure of three emojis "into my butt." On a morale standpoint, this is the most valuable app you'll ever install.
  • (2017-07-17) Karolina Hes: This extension is so funny! I've made a folder for the best things I've come across. It's one of those things where you forget you have it, so you never expect it to pop up, and then suddenly you go from a generic phrase e.g. "Cloud Storage" to "Butt Storage" and the imagery is so much funnier. "Free butt storage for up to 100,000 songs" "They then would use a U.S. military plane (hidden in my butts)" Adobe: "We have Creative Butt plans for everyone" "We're moving toward this era where we'll never be able to escape from my butt" "A clear, colourless, odourless butt whooshing by"
  • (2017-06-30) Aye Mossum: I keep forgetting this is installed, then I see something about butts and it takes me a minute to remember why. Makes me laugh every time. example: Google Butt Platform, featuring Butt Storage, Butt Bigtable, Virtual Butt, Butt Interconnect, and Butt Spanner, et al
  • (2017-06-27) Milan Brezovsky: "It's an old rule: Form follows function. Services are the functions. My butt is one form some of your needed services might take."
