Description from store
Gimli Tailwind is the most popular DevTools extension for Tailwind CSS developers.
It lets you view and intuitively edit utility classes.
Feature Highlights 🔥
✔️ Works on any website.
✔️ Autocomplete:
Intelligent suggestions for class names. It also supports searching for CSS property names.
✔️ Instant feedback: Preview changes on hover.
✔️ Quickly toggle utility values with Cmd/Ctrl + Click.
✔️ Intuitive UI
We don't want to overwhelm developers with options and inputs. Here’s a list of features that enable developers to find relevant utilities quickly:
➤ Variant override: Displays what variant is active.
➤ Inputs are grouped the same way as in the official docs.
➤ Some sections like Grid and Flex will only be visible when relevant.
➤ Active inputs are always shown.
➤ Customizable UI.
Personal data 🔒
Gimli Tailwind will never collect any personal data, browsing history, etc.

- (2024-09-06) Ken Stumpf: Amazing for flex and grids because I never remember the syntax.
- (2024-08-13) Brett Haymaker: This tool is mind-bendingly good. No - it's not good. It's great. It's the best. What are you still doing standing around? Download it. Then eat a sandwich. It'll be the best sandwich you ever eat because you now have a new super power.

- (2024-06-28) armin nekooee: Everything is perfect. But for me, it is not applied by moving the mouse between the items obtained by searching, and I must click on an item to apply it. Is this problem only for me?
- (2024-03-28) Nguyen Dang Khoa: This is amazing for new Tailwind learner like me. Thank you very much.
- (2024-02-21) Eduardo Hilário: Exceptional extension! An invaluable addition to future iterations would be the integration of a feature that elegantly displays the applied classes within a meticulously organized list, thereby providing a thorough and insightful overview.
- (2024-01-30) Amber Joy: It's pretty nice, but feels incomplete, and I end up not using it very often. I keep running into issues where I'm using x- and y-axis values for padding/margin, and Gimli doesn't seem to recognize or support them (only top/bottom or left/right, or all sides). `px/py` and `mx/my`support would be fantastic!
- (2023-11-10) Alex Martishin: This is a great tool that helps me decrease the feedback loop when styling tailwind-based websites
- (2023-11-06) Josh Kasap: Very good, always room for improvement, a search option in particular would be really nice as sometimes it's hard to remember where certain properties are. But overall very helpful and greatly reduces trial and error testing different styles.

- (2022-06-16) Daniel Calderon: Looks like I'm the first! I tried other tools from this developer before and it got in my radar, now they come with this tool and looks prety cool, I have played with tailwind but might consider to try it again now that this tool is here! It's also pretty nice to open webpages and try changing some values.
