I realized the mistake immediately and tried to find a way to cancel the purchase, but I couldn't find any cancellation option on the website https://www.superpowerdaily.com/. I ended up losing $120 because Superpower ChatGPT does not provide a cancellation option. I feel deceived and outraged. • (2024-02-20) John Martin: Every time I try to use any feature other than the default 3.5 it just gives the message "Our systems have detected unusual activity from your system. Please try again later." Kinda makes this thing worthless when I can do way more without it. I have ChatGPT plus ....but can't even use it with this extension. Also, many times it just causes the ChatGPT page to reload over and over again.

Coles (tlcoles): UPDATE 4/5 for extension, 1/5 for unethical review practices: Dear Saeed, The positive is that, despite some early poor experiences with the extension's performance, I decided to continue with the extension. I have found the developments and features so essential now, that I jumped to being a paying customer. It still has its ticks, but I can see via the Discord channel that customer challenges and OpenAI "breaks" are addressed swiftly. And, with that, I give my thanks to you, Saeed, for both a great tool, real customer support, and a reliably informative newsletter. The negative is that, today, I learned that there will be a pro subscription give away... to only those customers who leave a 5-star review of this extension. This kind of gaming of the Google reviews – penalizing paid customers for honest reviews, even if negative, while incentivizing folks to hype, regardless of their experience – is simply unethical. And since I am directly affected (2/5 says my previous review), I am certainly that much more motivated to call it out. Yes, I know that reviews are bought and sold. But I hope that you reconsider this, even if simply to avoid the appearance of impropriety.   ORIGINAL 2/5 I really enjoy the newsletter and have liked the features. But there are issues that have moved this from my initial "liked it" to today's "disliked it." One is the speed performance. When this extension is activated, ChatGPT slows down so much that I wonder whether it has stopped altogether. Sometimes, it simply erases the last chat, as if they were not entered at all. Others have mentioned this performance issue too. Worst, and this is the real offender, the chats that are there in my history when on my desktop or laptop when this is activated are NOT in the regular ChatGPT history. That makes sense, since this is about tracking, searching, and organzing chats saved locally. But if means that accessing ChatGPT from your mobile devices leaves you cold. That's a trade-off that, in the end, hampered my work between devices. I'll miss some of the features that I have gotten used to. And there is a LOT to like, including the highly informative free newsletter (even with its spammy-ness). But, in the end, it took away more than it gave.

• (2023-11-17) Philippe Boblet: It was a simple and great extension but it keeps getting heavier on chatGPTs UI (slow downs) making chatGPT's UX unpleasant at best. Worse, recent chatGPT updates were not compatible with this extension, that tries to keep up. One day it works the other it totally fails and messes up the chatGPT UI. It's a recurring issue BUT there's still no button or function to turn it off, despite the multiple failures. The fact that superpowerdaily is selling (very expensive) subscription plans for a broken extension and service is a bit worrying. And don't get me started on their (almost) dead "support" Discord.
• (2023-11-14) Smurf Someone: EDIT: I have hereby edited my original review, because for some reason it just... stopped working on one of my devices. I tried everything from disabling auto-sync to deleting all my chats. It might be that the author hasn't updated it for chrome yet (knowing chrome's approval process, it will take a while) I suggest you just use this extension on firefox for now. = Used it ever since when I first made a ChatGPT account, and don't plan to stop! (even with the new paid plan)

Additionally, the persistent launching of a pinned newsletter tab without an option to opt out presents a notable inconvenience. The lack of a choice to disable this feature adds extra discomfort, significantly impacting the overall user experience. Consequently, despite the plugin's merits, such as its useful functions, its troublesome nature concerning operational issues and the intrusive launch of specific features significantly limit its utility. This renders using it less than fully satisfying.

I activate a plugin, then after refreshing the website, it shows "No plugins enabled" and I cannot click on the dropdown to re-enable them. This same behavior happened to a friend. Also, was a limit imposed on the number of copy-pastes into the message prompt? I cannot copy paste anymore all of the sudden. I used to like your feature of dividing into chunks, but this is not something I would consider a "premium" if this is what happened. Thanks for the effort, if this really basic functionality improves I'll consider improving my rating.

After completing the sync, all the chats appeared this way.

Not acceptable in the slightest. Didn't even know it could do that, god knows what else it does. That is borderline malware behavior. Uninstalling.

The latter is useful for longer text. However, what made me giving only 1 star is the fact that the plugin has a weird behavior that I can't reproduce. From time to time it opens itself the webpage and even pins it. That's an absolut no go, even if you like to promote your webpage! It made me uninstall the plugin.

Sending the message doesn't work every now and then. I also don't see any progress indicator of what is happening when I send my prompt. Over time, this is more of a disappointment than a joy.

I know it's super hard to maintain an extension that adds tons of features to a website that's constantly changing. It must be quite stressful. I only wanted to use the multiple "custom instructions" feature. But alas, there's no option to enable just that.

I see things I like that save me time, but I am also constantly pestered with popups and pinned tabs for a newsletter I'll now never read out of spite. The free version feels halfway to malware (as someone used to heavily ad-blocked computer usage). This extension is powerful and it seems like there's rapid dev work. It deserves to be monetized without question, but let the product speak for itself. I am a user that would consider paying a monthly fee for a similar service when I am accustomed to the free tier and see the value in upgrading. I just find myself wanting to seek alternatives first rather than sticking with this one due to these particular design decisions.

• (2023-10-16) Christopher Williams: Not sure if this has been reported, but i've noticed that for me using windows 10 latest edge and extension, with GPT-4 I can't take a screenshot with print screen (uses snip and sketch) and then CTRL+ V and paste that image into the chat for GPT-4 (which supports images and shows image icon). I have to save to file, then click the image icon and select the file (say image.png). Also say next prompt I want to upload another image but instead of making new name I just overwrote image.png, well I would then have to select another image that has a different name (like image1.png) then i can remove image1.png and upload image.png just fine (didnt test this part without extension). But without the extension I can CTRL+V and paste as many screen shots as I need to. And I do notice GPT cutting off more recently or errors out if you start new chat with a image, it fails to generate a response but if i give a text prompt first then image next one its fine (again sorry I haven't tested to see if chatGPT or your extension here). other than it randomly stopping during respone (maybe extension or not) I love this extension!
