  • (2024-11-21) kevin menard: it's an okay search engine but it locks itself as default, isn't good for technical topics, and nags you. I'd have rated it higher if it didn't force itself as default.
  • (2024-08-29) Gail Seiler: I hope Freespoke adds more functionality to it's search engine but for now it's my go to anyway. I do not like to be manipulated when I'm looking for information. I want the facts. I like that Freespoke not only gives me ALL the options but notates (very accurately) if the source has a bias. Left, Right or Middle. I don't want my opinions formed on my behalf, I want information and facts so that I can form my own opinions on any topic. Freespoke gives me that and I have been spreading the news. I'm old enough to discern for myself thank you.
  • (2024-08-27) Stormwolfe: I just added Freespoke to Brave as my default search engine and added its app to my phone. It is awesome! I love being able to see at a glance on the news which direction the news source leans because I like getting ALL points of view so I can weigh the information myself and not be told what to think! My sincere desire is for Freespoke to do its own web browser.
  • (2024-08-07) Jake M: With the updates this is now the best browser/search out there!
  • (2024-03-28) Gear: In the beginning there was Google, and it was good, but just a few short years later it began its overreach. It is very difficult to replace Google Search (and they know that), but Freespoke Search is a good alternative considering its commitment to privacy and the free flow of information. Currently it deserves 4-Stars and soon 5-Stars if they continue to improve their product(s).
  • (2024-02-29) EMH: It works well. If you're trying to get away from Google, this is a good step. Unless you think only Google's AI is pushing a narrative, you'll want to stop relying on Google Search.
  • (2024-01-12) Louis A.: Quite bad, it lacks a lot of Google's features, and I can't find come sites that I use on Google on this. I don't recommend it.
  • (2023-09-01) Matthew: The Big Boy censorship-free search engine. Not recommended for snowflakes.

  • (2022-08-28) Brian Johnstone: Being a grown up, I do not need Google to 'curate' search results to 'protect' me from 'disinformation'. This has been a long time coming. Finally. I was ready to cut them a bit of slack at first - Google, Bing, etc have been at it a long time - because I think the competition so vital. But so far there is nothing of which to complain. It's splendid and the privacy is a bonus.
