Have you ever wondered how to reach a specific Gmail (including Google Workspace) message via a unique URL? This extension adds a 'Copy Message URL' option to your Gmail interface and also a button in your browser that allows you to copy the unique URL of the selected thread. You can then paste it in another application so that opening a specific message is just one click away. This is more reliable than copying the URL from the browser address bar, as that one may vary when you're logged in with multiple Gmail accounts. Additionally, the link works also for other people that have the same message in their mailbox (i.e. they were in cc).
No data is collected or shared. This extension relies entirely on standard features of Gmail!

With just one click I can now copy the URL pointing to a specific message in my Gmail account (including Google Workspace) and paste in another application so that opening a specific message is just one click away.
