  • (2025-06-08) Doug Meredith: Seems like a nice app if analysis is your goal, but unless I'm doing something wrong, import is rather useless. Imported history shows up within the extension, but Chrome itself seems to have no knowledge of it.
  • (2025-03-08) shuan wu: nice app
  • (2025-02-27) Jos Af: Great Extension. Very Usefull
  • (2025-02-23) Bob F: would be nice to be able to load some of the history pages.
  • (2025-01-24) Paul Birch: this thing is awesome - many thanks makers 😍
  • (2024-12-02) Hüseyin Demirci: Can you add a feature that allows us to see our window history as well. A setting that shows closed windows in which window has which tabs.
  • (2024-11-28) Benjamin Colato: VEry useful I need something like this for a long time
  • (2024-11-14) Thomas Hübner: perfect
  • (2024-10-27) Richard Marc Fernandez: export file is .tsv so you can use it on other browsers
  • (2024-09-03) Hazel Smith: Really cool extension but the data I have imported is only titled "untitle"? The domain is correct and the data had titles before, but on exporting and importing they lack titles. Also wish I could import my mobile csv history!
  • (2024-07-19) Diablo: WARNING!!!! COMPLETELY USELESS - READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLING I just installed this extension and at first I thought it was very good. But... I started doing lots of cleanup in my history and things SEEMS to be doing very well. This, until I did a checkup by disabling it to revert to the original history from Chrome... E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. I've deleted was still there. The description in the app store says: "Permissions: Read and change your browsing history on all your signed-in devices". That's a lie. It can read and will modify your history, but only within itself. Everything stays embedded, unchanged, into chrome. Total waste of time.... Don't install.
  • (2024-06-04) WTracks GPX editor: Looks good! Would be even better as open source ;) Is the extended history stored by history+ used by the automatic search in the URL bar? I cannot test before 90 days.
  • (2024-05-02) Edward Millen: It's suddenly started taking over from the normal Chrome History page (i.e. if I press Ctrl + H or the History option in the main Chrome menu), which it didn't do before and I don't want it to. I can't find any setting for (or explanation of) this behaviour, so there seems to be no way of accessing the standard Chrome history page now, other than by actually disabling this extension (which I obviously don't want to do either, as I still want my history saved in some way beyond 90 days)
  • (2024-04-22) Estrela S: Really needs a more robust search function, I migrated from History Trends because of the database corruption problem, but not being able to do regex searches with url / page titles or filter by date is really a pain Edit: Thank you for the advanced search function, it's a really nice addition
  • (2024-03-29) Alexey Ryzhkov: Hi, good idea. It looks mostly as a backup. But it could be much mode. Here are categories... but what logic behind these buttons (left side) with categories? I can't find a way to export only filtered items. Can I select with ctrl and shift some range of filtered items? How to select all filtered items at once at least? What if I need to export only specific items? Is there a button to export selected list of items? Here are some really needed features in my point of view. Hope it could be helpful. BR :-)
  • (2024-03-01) n ascentt: Incredible. Not only an automatic incremental local history backup, not only a local database of your whole history to search (in a world where chrome deletes your history a=every few months) but also smart categorisation and organisation. Wish I discovered it a long time ago.
  • (2024-02-26) P C Shinde: Love this.
  • (2024-02-03) John Anderson: Could be really good, you need it so it replaces the default history button, having to click extensions and then history plus is just too much effort.

  • (2023-11-27) twm: Horizonal scrollbars should not exist with my 1440p.
  • (2023-11-25) Heath Brown: Just needs to be open-source and available on GitHub. Other than that, it's perfect.
  • (2023-10-17) Alex Bjornstad: Glad to see that there's a another choice to keep history forever in chromium base browers. Thanks !

  • (2023-09-07) 寒晓: Thank you, at least in my opinion, it's more user-friendly than 'History Trends Unlimited.' I often couldn't find my browsing history with 'History Trends Unlimited,' but your plugin can match it perfectly.

  • (2023-07-25) BIOS-Pherecydes: The idea is good, and so far as I've seen the regular backup works fine. But it consistently fails to import. Every attempt fails, without exception. 100% of the time it gets roughly halfway through, then stops. Reloading doesn't help, because it's the same as starting from the beginning as though it's the first time and you'd never tried to begin with. It doesn't resume from where you left off, it starts over from step one. The big problem with this though, is that the although the import says it takes 2-10 minutes, in actual point of fact it takes multiple *hours* to get even to the halfway point, so this is a monumental timesink for no results. Nearly an hour for every ten percent, and never once has it gone over 61% before stalling out. A major disappointment.

  • (2023-07-16) 双海詩音: Hey Tom, great extension you've made for us, many thx! I personally appreciate the concise UI very much! Here I've got a question: We know that history-trends-unlimited's own data is stored in databases/chrome-extension_{HTR's Ext ID}_0/, but I can't find any file/folder related to H+'s ID or name, would you mind pointing out where H+ saves its own data?

  • (2023-06-03) Tom Sinacode: Nice work! I imported my 258 days of history from export of History Trends Unlimited. It only takes around 20 seconds. The pinned category page is so handy as my homepage. Definitely a must have productivity tools!
