This is a Chrome extension that allows users to set alerts for stock and cryptocurrency prices and receive notifications when the price meets a specified condition.
UPDATE FOR 09.19.2023 - Now supporting Crypto assets
This extension allows users to:
1. Select a stock market or crypto ticker and get real-time price quotes
2. Identify which condition they want satisfied (last price or closing price)
3. Identify which price type they want satisfied (above, above or equal to, below or equal to, and below)
4. Select the price threshold to trigger the alert
To use this extension, follow these steps:
1. Install the extension in Chrome.
2. Click on the extension icon in the toolbar to open the popup window.
3. Fill out the form to set your alerts.
4. Close the popup window.
5. Wait for a notification if a condition is met.
Pricing: Currently, the charge for this service is $1.50 / month due to API usage and maintenance. This fee covers the cost of accessing real-time stock data and maintaining the extension. Payment is handled securely through our payment processor, Extension Pay. Users can manage their subscription by clicking on the "Manage Subscription" button in the popup window.
Note on Stock Data
Please note that the stock market only returns data from Regular Trading Hours (9:30 am - 4:00pm EST) and prices may be delayed by 15 minutes due to API restrictions. The data is provided by Finnhub (https://finnhub.io/). Currently, the data is only for U.S. stock markets.
Note on Cryptocurrency Data
Please note that the crypto market only returns data during all hours of the day including weekends (24/7) and prices may be delayed by 15 minutes due to API restrictions. The data is provided by Finnhub (https://finnhub.io/). The current exchanges we use for data feeds are Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken.

- (2023-08-25) Timmy Broadshaw: I can't confirm whether it is malicious, but this extension can read and change data on extensionpay.com (and google.com for some reason). It then wants you to pay on extensionpay.com to use its features. Seems suspicious to me, although its entirely possible that it isn't doing anything malicious
