• (2023-11-03) Ryan Aarstad: Originally I gave it a one star review. Then I realized you had to purchase for it to search more than the last 20 convos. Some reviews say the paid version isn't worth it. But It's totally worth it, especially if you use ChatGPT for a million things and have a million threads. Because of this I finally found a whole advertising copy comedy script generator template bot I created in ChatGPT. Which I looked for for thirty minutes through old threads and still couldn't find it because the thread had a weird name. It searches all of your ChatGPT threads. Even though its simple, it's awesome and super helpful for finding important ChatGPT convos from the past. It's $7 bucks. Totally worth it. Love it.

The ability to conduct a cross-thread search with just a keyword that comes to mind is extremely convenient. Additionally, the customer support is very prompt and efficient.

The ability to denote favorites is helpful, too. The best $4.99 I've spent in a long time. Wondering if it's available, or even can be, for Android (haven't poked around yet) or just with a Chromium-based browser?

Only critique: I did not find a short documentation/help, so I had to look on discord what the OpenAI API key should be for (some form of summarization of conversations, I guess?)

I'm also curious how this works with alternate conversations? For example, If I generated multiple outputs for a single prompt are all of them indexed? I often generate multiple threads in a single conversation this way so it would be cool if it did.

However, I do have a question regarding if there is a way to pull something from a different thread. It says that there are plenty of occurrences of what I am searching for in a different thread but no way to get to that thread (without spending an hour looking through each individual thread trying to find the right one). Is there a way to have search and find a word even if it is in a different thread of my conversation?

The extension initially worked but after reinstalling chrome on a computer the license code stopped working. It said: "Your license has been activated more than 3 times and is no longer valid. Please contact [email protected] for more information." I followed those directions and never heard back. Non-existent customer service, it seems.

I'm curious if these reviewers offer their work for free or don't expect to earn a salary at the end of the month... For the approximate cost of a cup of coffee, give or take, this amazing extension enhanced my experience and workflow when using ChatGPT. I tried many, many extensions before settling on this one. I read the instructions about how it has limited functionality for the free version but for a nominal once off price you can unlock it's full capabilities. This is where it shines and has made my copious and extensive use of ChatGPT that much more useful. I recommend it. And if I could rate it higher -- 5 star ratings are rather inane as even 4/5 equates to 80 percent -- I would.

PayPal started acting weird when I tried so I quickly changed my password just in case. Then I searched more about Gumroad. It's easy to find customer reviews that describe stolen credit cards. I do not feel comfortable ordering from this company. Please move the paid version to the Chrome Web Store. I realise that Google takes a bigger cut, but you raised the price anyway. It's no longer the $2.99 you used to charge for it. I was being asked to pay $5.99. Therefore you wouldn't really be missing out by switching to using this store for the paid version, and people can actually feel safe buying it. I'll also raise my rating afterwards. I wanted this for the sake of searching back far in time, but I can't test that because of Gumroad. So for now you get the low rating from me, sorry.

• (2023-04-30) Todd Whitehead: This is EXACTLY what I needed. I have so many chats, that I often spend a lot of time looking for previous chats to continue a chat or to reference what was discussed. Searching the titles was good, searching keywords, and now we can see the highlighted words. This thing just keeps getting better and better. Publisher is very proactive and responsive and seems dedicated to doing a great job with this.
