Description from store Visually merge the same event on multiple Google Calendars™ into one event. Do you view at the same time: - You work and personal calendar - Your team's shared calendar - A private calendar with loads of "Busy" blocks - Or some strange combination of events? These likely clutter up your calendar and if long titled are hard to read. This extension merges all those separate events into one event, and colours it with a user selected gradient style. • (2025-03-06) Travis Wieser: Works great and cleans up my heavy calendar!
  • (2025-03-05) Steven Daley: Simple but does exactly what I need it to do.
  • (2024-11-10) Daniel Call: On MacOS, I click "enable" but nothing changes. My meetings still appear twice from both calendars.
  • (2024-10-15) Doug Reith: It seems to leave empty white space on All Day events that are merged
  • (2024-09-25) Chris Eliasmith: Very nice, and I really like the inclusion of the wild card, that's a game changer. There are some display issues (blank lines between events), but it's quite usable even with that issue.
  • (2024-09-24) Danielle Jones: It works and looks nice, but I was under the impression that the wildcard would work as long as I include a keyword IN the event titles (e.g., wildcard: "meeting", merged event 1: "Blue meeting", " merged event 2: "Red meeting", merged event 3: "Yellow meeting")—not that the event titles had to be EXACTLY the same. I was wanting to use this extension for visually blending related events, occurring simultaneously, but with slightly different names for when I can knock these events out in one go (e.g., "Blue meeting", "Red meeting", "Yellow meeting"). Am I doing something wrong? Or can you please implement something that would enable me to do this? Essentially, I was looking to sort of tag my events with the wildcard/keyword to blend them together.
  • (2024-09-20) Vasil Kolev: I have to look at a ton of calendars, and this is really helpful. Also, the reposnes time for bug fixes is great.
  • (2024-09-20) Rami Ismail: Giving five stars - this was working incredibly well, but is (at the time of this post) off-setting the display of my events by about an hour. Hope we can get a fix for that one soon - thanks for all your hard work, Henry.
  • (2024-09-12) Jesper Dalgas Zachariassen: Really nice! If I could add more than just one wildcard then this extension would be 5 stars.
  • (2024-09-05) Jordan Cox: Updated 05/09: Following the feedback below, indeed I was using Candy Cane and it was not obvious. To all others, follow the details on the info below. Click on YOUR colour on the calendar to edit! Using vertical bars works very correctly! Thanks for supporting this plugin from the previous version, it's truly appreciated!
  • (2024-08-23) Jacob Wedderburn Day: what a lovely extension
  • (2024-07-17) Rhett Sifford: Outstanding extension that merges identical events in multiple calendars and displays them beautifully and neatly. It even eliminates the blank spaces left by other merge extensions. Plus... if for some reason the extension isn't working just right, Henry goes to work immediately to fix it.
  • (2024-04-16) Christie Myhra: UPDATE: It broke. For some reason, when the extension is enabled, it does not sync properly with new events. Realized after collaborating with a coworker and he showed full calendars where I showed quite a few open spots. :( HELP! PERFECT. Exactly what I needed. 10/10. THANK YOU!! I manage multiple peoples' calendars at work and often have to have multiple open, many of which are also on my own calendar. Needless to say, that means my calendar looks INSANE. This helps it look nice and neat! I especially love the gradient option.
  • (2024-04-16) Matt Trifiro: Does exactly what it says it does and does not conflict with other extensions. Great tool.
  • (2023-10-23) Juan Martitegui: This is a great extension and really useful. The only thing I wish is that on "mouse hover" I should be able to see which "event" I want to click and open. Because I use reclaim.ai and sometimes the events don't have the same description, etc. It will be great if there is a blended event of 2 calendars. Cal1 = blue and Cal2= Red ... if I click more in the "red" I get the Cal2 description/Detail window, if I click on the blue, I get the Cal1 Description/Detail window

  • (2023-04-18) Anton Jonsson: Didn't work as expected at all. - Whole day events extend over days that it shouldn't eg. over Saturday and Sunday. - Does not compress merged events at top of day. There are still empty rows in between merged events. This is not an upgrade from the old one it's trying to replace. I'm changing back to "Event Merge for Google Calendar", it's better than this new one, even though it hasn't been updated since 2019.

  • (2023-04-14) Michael Lyons: Excellent fork of a beloved extension. This one still actually works.
  • (2023-03-29) Melissa Fritz: Works as advertised. Also allows you to choose how merged events should appear (striped, blended, etc.).
