• (2023-03-31) François Duplan: Very useful app. What would make the extension perfect in my opinion would be to have the possibility to have shortcuts, in the same way as the Merlin extension does, in order to make some functionalities super accessible, like for example highlighting a text and being able to synthesize/rewrite it directly, without the need to open the application, copy and paste the text and ask chatGTP to synthesize/rewrite it, etc.

• (2023-03-27) Andrew Zandi: It's great! No paywall, etc. I personally pay for GPT Plus, and I don't want to pay extra for limited extensions! This just uses my GPT account, and that why I like it. It has a nice UI, however it lacks features that Merlin has. I'd like a YouTube, Article Summarizer and a "Give Context" button.

The windows shortcut works seamlessly, but with the window not loading properly it is hard to rate this extension any higher than one star. I would love to try the extension when it is fixed.

  Hello! I am attempting to use the extension in websites but it seems after inputting my questions/prompt/etc it is not returnuing anything. It shows the ChatGPT logo for brief second and it disappears and it does not return anything at all.

  Hi, I'm not sure this is an intended use of your plugin but I sure hope it is! I bought a Premium subscription just in hopes of using it this way. I have a big (438-page, ~125MB) PDF I want to upload (this is one of several) and have chatgpt analyze it for help with a research paper. It seems to keep getting stuck in the early stages of processing content chunks. It'll go to 11 or 20 or 31 but no further (I've waited a while now). Can you help me know if this will work teh way I want?

  This is the only ChatGPT extension I like and find usable. My default setting for most sites is dark so it sticks out a bit, would love to see that improvement. It would also be nice to have a shortcut key (prefarably the same) to close the popup if it's open.

  Hi Max, thanks for this awesome extension, it's been super helpful to me. However, recently I ran into a problem where it asks me to check my website security before continuing. I clicked on the link and chatgpt runs fine, but when I try to use the extension it still says I need to check the security. I tried restarting my computer, refreshing, hiding the prompt, even uninstalling and reinstalling the extension to no avail. Every time I open the extension, it redirects to a fully functioning chat gpt page but still says I need to recheck the security. Can you please help me with this?

I been encountering a lot of long conversations with the AI and I was thinking if a "Stop generating" feature can be added? like the same exact one from openAI's chatgpt, so when it keeps generating an answer on and on and you dont seem to be wanting that answer from cahtgpt just by clicking "Stop generating" would just end the conversation from being finished so you can try prompting something else instead rather than waiting for it finish its long response. [2] Another suggestions would be re-editing the prompt you asked in the chat like the same as in ChatGPT after typing it in, and if you feel like re editing the prompt you asked and having it re generate the prompt again within the chat rather than asking a whole another prompt ... I think that would be a cool integration within the chat extension. What do you think?

  So I tried to ask to solve an equation and it the extension it doesn't quite convert how the ChatGPT does the equation for example. I asked "find the slope of the line that goes through the given points: (7,3) and (4,7)" and it resulted in through the extension: The slope of a line passing through two points $(x_1, y_1)$ and $(x_2, y_2)$ can be calculated using the formula: $$ \text{slope} = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} $$ Substituting the coordinates of the given points, we get: $$ \text{slope} = \frac{7-3}{4-7} = \frac{4}{-3} = -\frac{4}{3} $$ Therefore, the slope of the line passing through the points $(7,3)$ and $(4,7)$ is $-\frac{4}{3}$. You see how there are special characters? and I pasted the same question in chatgpt it implemented the equation into an actual fraction method as in the extension it returns just the special characters and doesn't convert it into mathematics.

  First of all thanks for the amazing free extension. I have faced 3 problems here. (You can also call it suggestions) 1. The copy button under the ChatGPT's answer only copy text as plain texts. Sometimes chatgpt answer with number lists (1,2,3,4...) or bullet list (◉). This extension doesn't copy anything. { There is a chrome extension called "superpower chatgpt" that allows me to copy rich text. it also counts number of character and words of the given answer, but it doesn't allow popup and always stays on top option..} 2. I always keep some chat history for further usage and don't delete necessary chat history tab. Because chatgpt can remember older texts. So, can you please add an option so that I can access the other history. I don't want to do this by visiting main website (https://chat.openai.com/chat). 3. This extension keeps itself always on top. I was looking for a smart note manager extension like "Simple sticky Notes" that will be always on top like "PIP mode". But didn't find any good and reliable extension. Please Try to add or (develop a new extension) a notepad with some text editing edition features. Also you can try add Google Keep/Notion/Dynalist's features, "Clipboard History Pro" extension's feature. Please consider this suggestions.
