  • (2023-11-07) PeachPie24: New review: Things are working fine again! Ads are getting scrolled through, and even though its not always landing perfectly, its doing what I need. Old review: Sadly scrolls through the entire episode without a way to stop it. Only thing that I could think to do was disabling the extension after scrolling past the ad and reloading the page.
  • (2023-11-06) Mr Orange: it works fine for the 1st 5 minutes, skipping through ads, intro, etc.. On the 2nd ad, it skips through the ad but never stops fast forwarding. It takes more time to stop the video, disable the extension, reload the page, then scroll back to the section you missed out on, than to watch the ad. Either this use to work and amazon has figured out a work around, or this app always sucked.
  • (2023-11-01) Mazzo: Watching on Prime Freevee. Sped through adverts, that seemed fine for a few episodes. But there were a couple episodes that just sped through full episodes. Stopped the video, went back into the video, it was still doing it. Closed Chrome completely, started the video again, it sped through the whole episode. It was somehow reading the episode as an advert, tried four times and it continued to do it. Deleted extension. Got extension again. Went back into the video on prime, and it did it again. So it would be 3 stars because it does not skip the ads, it speeds through them. But it did it again. So this extension is only voted 2 stars because what is the point in speeding through the entire episode? If the extension cannot be relied upon to work, it is useless.
  • (2023-10-31) Ryan A: Was 5 star. Loved it. Today went to watch a show and now it is skipping through the show. Have this on both chrome and edge and both doing it. As soon as I remove the extension the show plays normally (with ads). Happy to change this to 5 stars if that gets fixed
  • (2023-10-31) Paul A.: Sadly it will keep on forwarding the video even after the ad finished. Nice idea but seems it must be fixed. Tried it with Edge & Chrome (also restarted browser).
  • (2023-10-21) Zach Hatchett: Works great! 100 second ads gone in a flash, Thank you!
  • (2023-10-16) Adi: Using on amazon and does not work at all.
  • (2023-10-14) e Razed: Yeah seems to work. :) ty very much
  • (2023-09-23) Joe: Works great for skipping ads, but I've noticed that it start playing amazon prime videos in the background any time I view a movie's page. It doesn't look like it's playing, but the sound starts going (which comes as a bit of a shock) and Amazon adds the video to my viewing history as though I pressed the Play button. This is a minor inconvenience. I have the options for skipping pre-rolls and intros enabled and the option for next episode disabled.
  • (2023-08-17) Zhy: As someone that never feels the need to write a review- Im here to say, well played! Freevee can suck a fat one with the 10 ads at the most inconvenient time! Just for those who are sceptical- The blocker fast forwards through the ad's- it doesnt remove them. However a win is a win in my book! So thanks for this! keep up the good work haha!
  • (2023-08-13) Deplorable Dave: This extension works SEAMLESSLY on the Opera browser. So far. I literally can not tell where an ad should be. I have only tried it for one FreeVee episode of a hard to find 2007 TV show. But I bet it works on all FreeVee media. Sorry, I dont use Chrome much, so IDK about how well it works on Chrome. Google don't censor me for that! I love my GMail and Android phones! :) THANK YOU FOR THE DEVELOPERS OF THIS!! The "official" notion is that it is "impossible" to watch FreeVee with out ads. Hilarious. That was my first few hits until I found this in a Reddit thread. Wolverines!
  • (2023-08-12) Micah Hewartson: Only skips intro buffers on any ads until you get a popup of the video being unavailable
  • (2023-08-03) Euan: I was okay watching ads for FreeVee until they started taking the piss. 7 ads in a 30 min episode with ads repeating if you use the playback controls after watching one. This ext works perfectly perfectly. Thank you.
  • (2023-07-24) Ray Mattman: Okay I started using this app a couple of weeks ago on Prime and so far this has work 100%. Now that I've written a review don't screw it up keep it work. It does what it says blocks the fringe AD'S, AD'S,AD'S,AD'S,AD'S,. I'm using Opera 100.0.4815.76 on a windows 10 pro. Please don't screw this APP up!!!!!
  • (2023-06-19) K Tempest Bradford: I was using this for a few days and it worked, then there was an issue with playback. The show plays right away and I don't see the Freevee screen load for that half second. Every time there's a commercial break I don't see the half second of commercial. But about 30 - 40 seconds in, the playback restarts to the beginning of the scene where the break has been. Then the show cuts off anywhere from 3 to 8 minutes early and goes to the next episode. Nothing I've done changes this behavior. Uninstalling, clearing amazon cookies, etc.
  • (2023-06-18) Harold Guarino: 110/10
  • (2023-06-17) thejustaguy: Sorry, it doesn't work. It must have been a great extension when it worked. I installed it yesterday and it didn't do anything to stop the ads.
  • (2023-05-30) Crideas Bane: I have been using this, and I love it. As of yesterday, May 29th, 2023, however, the extension seems to have stopped working for me. I have checked the resttings, turned it off an on with and without reloading the page, and with and without restarting my browser. I can only guess that maube the freevee ads made changes to force the ads to play (which stinks - serving adds to paying customers is complete garbage).
  • (2023-05-25) Enrico Weber: Works great. Tip: restart Chrome/clear the cache.
  • (2023-04-10) B D: it actually works!
  • (2023-04-05) Michael Paulo: I found this extension after discovering uBlock wasn't blocking these ads, and Freevee Skipper does just what the title says. The ad showing for about one second where the normal ad break is nearly seamless, which is a fun reminder that I'm beating "The Man" LOL. I like the 'previously on...' segments, and it's nice that this app lets you choose not to skip them. Thanks for the good work!
  • (2023-04-04) Marco von Rosenberg: I didn't think this was possible with server-side ad injection but it in fact works. The developers even seem to adapt the extension to Freevee code changes. Thank you!
  • (2023-04-03) Sharon Downer: I am so grateful for this extension. I have ADHD and it is so difficult to take in a show while constantly being interrupted by ads for things I don't want or need. Thank you so so so so much and may you have much joy in your life.
  • (2023-03-14) Albert Noah: Works perfectly! Thanks!!
  • (2023-03-11) peacurry: Utterly useless. Doesn't skip ads unless there's already a Skip option which Freevee doesn't have. Removed from Chrome.
  • (2023-03-02) Nick Colin: works for me
  • (2023-03-02) Bez: isnt working anymore unfortunately 3/1/23
  • (2023-02-27) Ananstracated: I kind of skips, but when the video comes back on, there is a hazy overlay making the video dark, and the video controls remain on top of the movie like a watermark.
  • (2023-02-18) Ryan Eastburn: 100% works
  • (2023-02-17) Aron Boyette: Works perfectly! I suppose there's a chance it's scanning my files or something. But it might be worth it.
  • (2023-02-14) Judah: Awesome! I get to watch Idiocracy without ads while you mine crypto currency in the background! /j
  • (2023-01-11) Ed Hasaba: excellent
  • (2022-12-12) Tommy Swenson: a+ it just works!
  • (2022-12-12) Arnold Saenz: Seems it would function better if it buffered the feed (few seconds of lag) and then connected before and after ads for a more seamless video experience. Between episodes/video streams, can adjust and empty buffers and adjust for differences.
  • (2022-11-09) Jasmine: Wonderful
  • (2022-11-01) majik: Works Great
  • (2022-10-11) Tenn Progressive: Fantastic! Exactly what I wanted, and it is a pleasure to see the ad begin, last one second, then the video resume. I need to check whether this developer has any other neat apps. Highly recommended.
  • (2022-10-01) Adam Bishop: Works great!
  • (2022-09-30) Jason Chan: Works!
  • (2022-09-30) Alban Eldon: works like a charm
