All this extension does is disable the middle-click "AutoScroll" feature so you don't accidentally activate it when trying to middle-click a link with your scroll-wheel to open a link in a new tab.
The screenshot is of the ENTIRE source-code, and it's all on GitHub as well.

- Just downloaded. Hate I have to give permission for every site. Only downloaded because it has the "on specific site" option. Sadly that options does not let you select it for use...The "on click" option does work so I will try that. Not a great start. Hope this lets me do what I want and wheel click all the links the new web doesn't want me opening in new tabs. If it opens something, I want to be able to wheel click it and force it into a new tab. I HATE the new web. Edit: It does not work for this, pointless. edit 2: it did turn off the autoscroll with some messing with it, but its still doesn't do what I want it to. The finger pointer pops up but it doesn't open the links. Not this apps fault I reckon, the new web sucks. ext may work for what you want but not for me. Changing stars to 3.

- It doesnt work where you need it the most. Youtube!! It does work when I click on the background. But it does NOT work when I try to middle click on a video thumbnail (to open it in a new tab). Just an FYI, none of the other "stop smooth scrolling" extensions work, so I'm assuming it is a youtube thing.

- Flawless! Absolutely essential for all Chrome users. It should have been an option directly in Chrome but this extension makes up for it nicely.

- Finally it's back!!! Surely no one anywhere actually likes it when you try to open a link in a new tab and instead the web page goes scrolling off for miles!

- Works perfectly for me to stop auto scroll on my Corsair Dark Core mouse but I notice one very annoying glitch in the extension instead of auto scroll enabling when the wheel gets clicked the extension keeps opening a new tab window before I know it I have countless tabs opened. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue wondering is there a way to disable that from happening or can it be addressed with a update? Re : Adam “Slackwise” Flanczewski Let me try and explain, while scrolling though a web page like facebook with the wheel the wheel constantly accidently gets clicked but now instead of enabling the auto scroll it has basically substituted auto scroll with the open in a new tab command the end result is a bunch of accidently opened tabs . It's not another extension issue I've checked and disabled all other extensions and I disabled the iCUE mouse drivers and looked around in the windows mouse settings also and can't seem to find a solution How exactly do I add a bug tracker havn't done that before ?

- Работает не на всех страницах. Но идея прекрасная! Может если это расширение наберёт достаточно комментов, то программисты-дегенераты из Гугла, Макрософта и других компаний обратят внимание на свои ублюдские решения которые они навязывают пользователям в тоталитарном порядке. Я вот не знаю, кто-нибудь вообще видел хоть одного человека на планете земля, который бы пользовался этим идиотским автоскролом?

- Great concept, but it doesn't work AT ALL on some pages, such as the GOOGLE PAGE itself! Not even after reloading a page. And we shouldn't have reload every single page we are on for it to work. Hope the dev finds a workaround. Works on Youtube, ironically, which is run by Google. f I click on the icon and then click Disable Autoscroll, it just takes me to this page. Get rid of that stupid link. No one needs it!

- This does work! I HATE autoscroll and it should be an option in the settings of the browser. To anyone on the Google team for Chrome dev, add this to the settings of the browser. To the creator/dev of this extension, THANK YOU and please keep this updated.

- THANK YOU! AutoScroll is very annoying. This allows you to still middle-click on links to open them in a new window while disabling the annoying feature that should at the very least be configurable with a flag.
