(2025-06-28) starts to prevent ads now working but i believe twitch has a feature if you use adblockers it makes your stream quality poor and unappealing to watch. *update* june 25th. Twitch is now implemented if you using adblock it prevents the stream from showing and displays a message saying. ''This video is either unavailable or not supported in this browser. (Error #4000)'' *update* june 28th. doesnt block ads at all.

(2025-05-29) doesn't work as of 5/29/25, but from experience this extension usually gets fixed rather quickly and has been one of the most consistent ad blockers for twitch besides the "alternate player for twitch.tv" extension (which seems to be the only thing working right now) i'll check back in a few weeks and update my review.

(2025-05-26) Hasn't been updated since: 17th May 2024. Does not work, and won't until it's been updated. I'd recommend running: AdBlockPlus and Ghostery, those two together 'Sometimes' block/catch ads on Twitch depending on the type of ad and where it's placed. Oh there is also Pie Adblock, but they are tied to 'Honey' that were scamming people. Would not recommend those criminals at all.

(2025-05-19) You don't have to do anything, once it's installed it's already enabled. Even with that being said, this extension practically does nothing atleast as of right now. Does not block twitch ads at all.

(2025-05-10) Update May 10, 2025: almost a year (May 16, 2024) since this has last been updated. This was the best adblocker for Twitch, but alas... Twitch figured out hitting with unblockable ads dealing 70% critical damage. Gotta go the VPN route until this is updated. Leaving as 2-stars cuz this _was_ the best while other extensions didn't even work *before* Twitch conjured their ad magic Update Dec 2, 2023: It's working great. There is a bit of a buffer when an ad is blocked, but double-clicking "Reset Player" skips that buffer period. Aug 7, 2023: I just clocked it. Instead of watching a 30 sec, I have to wait a full minute on the purple page before the stream starts. So at the moment, watching the ad is actually *faster*
