- (2023-03-20) Adefoluke Shemsu: This extension is actually too good, lol. I'm not a big shopper, but when I do, I try to buy in chunks--especially when it comes to wardrobe. It was hard not want to buy more than what I needed when looking through the amount options Disco provides, because I typically budget for the new version of piece of clothing. Getting an immediate match with verified second-hand top brands showing me a Canada Goose parka for, say, a third of the new price, is a game changer. I never once considered buying second hand as an adult because my only exposure to something like that as a midwesterner was Plato's Closet. No shade to them, but as a working professional that needs my wardrobe to look at a certain way, I didn't feel a had a lot of solid business casual or "smart casual" options. This app has been phenomenal thus far in shifting that mindset and realizing that I can essentially get all of my favorite brands from a reputable platform at a fraction of the price. Even more awesome that this sort of seamless integration is what I believe will enliven and push the concept of a circular economy to the forefront for other folks like me.

I try to buy everything secondhand but sometimes it is draining to have to search so many secondhand platforms, which are not always as user-friendly as the mainstream firsthand platforms like Amazon.
