- (2025-04-24) nick normal: Nice extension. But...if I "pin" the tab for the extension, it will open a new home/index.html tab to the right of all pinned tabs with each browser launch. Those tabs then get saved. So, if you close and open Chrome say 5 times, you will have 5 Tab Deck tabs: 1 pinned, and 4 new Tab Deck tabs to the right of pinned tabs. This just seems really odd to me, as no other tab/group extension or extension of any sort has acted like this. Also, say I have said 5 Tab Deck tabs...the first one (the one I pinned) will take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to load, while the other 4 load almost instantly. This says to me that something about pinning this extension causes issues. I've written the devs via the website but no response in nearly a month, so time to leave a review.....
- (2025-04-24) John Lockard: The extension most likely to crash on me. I usually keep it as a pinned tab and it's so very common (95%) of the time to see that tag is crashed and needs to be reloaded, and reloaded, and reloaded before it actually displays any actual content. When it works, it's great, but I rarely see it actually working. So, I almost never have a valid snapshot of my tabs from any given session.
- (2025-04-18) Chen Markson: Tried 5+ tab manager extensions; this one suits my need the best (many lists of read-it-later) and has the best design
- (2025-04-08) bane banely: DONT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS ONE GUYS!! It doesn't have the ability to process and/or display large saved sessions. First of all, I have 32gb of ram, Intel Core i7-14700K, and an RTX 5070. PLENTY capable of handling resource intense graphics and memory hogging tabs but to begun with your UI is beautiful but its slow, REALLY slow. And choppy and just very irritating to use. And the dealbreaker for me was:, if you saved several large sessions, you wont be able to view them because every time you open the manager and try to click on the saved sessions tab, it just hangs and hangs and hangs and chrome asks if ill wait or exit page...at first i clicked wait and then clicked it another FIFTEEN MORE TIMES!!!. and even THEN, it wouldnt load. so im done. guys, work on your backend coding please.
- (2025-01-26) Leon Hung: Data loss has occurred for the second time. The first time all past tab sessions were erased during a one-click collection, and this time it happened a Chrome update. Be very careful with this extension if you're not in the habit of using other third-party backup tools. The developer appears more intent on monetizing it, rather than focusing on the reliability of its core features.
- (2025-01-17) Radek Raczkowski: I enabled "close tabs when saving" option to make it behave more like the original OneTab. It "saves" all windows instead of the current one. On top of that only the second window got actually saved so I lost most of the tabs. Additionally it's missing the "Send tabs on the right/left" feature.
- (2025-01-09) My Sharona: Doesn't show tab groups
- (2025-01-04) Adri C: promising extension with some good features and a pretty ui but ... lacks de-duplication ui is a little buggy (elements overlap) cloud sync costs $2.50/month beyond first 4 sessions
- (2024-12-25) Mohd Arifin Daud: Being involved in multiple projects, this extension keeps me organized and significantly improves my daily workflow. It’s an indispensable tool for staying productive and focused.
- (2024-12-25) June Hewitt: The developer is responsive and always willing to help. The extension itself is highly useful and packed with features that make managing tabs and browsing so much easier.
- (2024-12-25) David Julian: This add-on is incredibly useful and has become an essential part of my browsing experience. The monthly fee is not only affordable but also significantly lower compared to similar tools in this category.
- (2024-12-24) R BlackJack: I usually end up in chaos with too many web pages open and often lose something important. This app has saved me hours of stress. I can save entire sessions for later or quickly load my favorite site collections—it’s simply good.
- (2024-12-24) JeREmY: I absolutely need this app! It lets me save sets of tabs to the cloud, so I can easily access them on another PC.
- (2024-12-23) Salena Rice: This tool helps me stay on top of the 100+ tabs I typically have open. It’s been working perfectly for me.
- (2024-12-23) Edwin Allen: I’m a serious tab collector, and this extension has become absolutely essential for me.
- (2024-12-23) Steve: I didn’t realize I had hundreds of tabs open until I tried this tool! Managing tabs in a window with a dozen of tabs open is such a hassle, titles are hard to read, and reloading tabs takes ages, making it difficult to decide what to keep or close. This extension makes it so easy to see all the tab names at once and offers great actions to organize them. Plus, the UI is amazing!
- (2024-12-22) Alex Mount: I like this extension. My only suggestion is about the greyed-out inactive tabs. While I see why it’s done, it makes it harder to find tabs when there are many open, as the colors help a lot. It would be amazing to have an option to disable this.
- (2024-12-22) Harry Reid: An excellent free option compared to paid extensions like Workona, as long as you don’t need cloud sync.
- (2024-12-21) Mo B: Simple and user-friendly. Ideal for keeping all your tabs from different windows organized in one place.
- (2024-12-21) Ronald Terrance: By far my favorite extension! I’ve added it to all of my Chrome profiles. I really hope it can add features to manage different profiles from one place, and continues to be supported for years to come.
- (2024-12-21) Joshua B1: This tool has been working so well for me. Most of its features are free and no ad. Keep it going!
- (2024-12-17) Jennifer Lim: Incredibly helpful for anyone looking to master multitasking!
- (2024-12-16) Darren Up: It eliminates the hassle of adjusting my browser width and scrolling endlessly just to view my tab groups. The feature to save tabs to the cloud for access across devices makes it more convenient.
- (2024-12-16) Abdul Razak Osman: Good tab manager, the ability to select multiple tabs for sending to is good, just one request, add more actions like closing or putting to sleep will be more helpful. Plus, it seamlessly supports managing tabs across different windows—super convenient!
- (2024-12-15) MR Eric: If you're like me and can't resist opening too many tabs, this extension is a must-have. It keeps everything organized, and I can revisit saved tabs whenever I need. The customizable themes are a nice touch tool!
- (2024-12-15) Alvin.77: Having just 9 colors for tab groups feels a bit limiting, but overall, it’s a useful tool.
- (2024-12-15) Steven Stuart: I’m in love with the adorable emojis it assigns to each session. My only suggestion would be to make sessions rearrangeable for even more flexibility.
- (2024-12-14) Emily Collins: I really like this extension, I’ve been recommending it to many friends.
- (2024-12-14) Seth Kingston: This is hands down the most packed tab management extension I've come across! With over a dozen settings to customize, event Command K support, and almost all features offered for free, I honestly can’t see what there is to criticize.
- (2024-12-14) JayJay G: It would be awesome to have a keyboard shortcut for expanding and collapsing tab groups!
- (2024-12-12) Marcus GeORge: Good tool for productivity!
- (2024-12-11) Samantha Fung: I like the aesthetic design of One Tab Group. It would be even better if the cloud backup feature were available for free—I’d greatly appreciate that!
- (2024-12-11) Jacky S: Great for tab management! I appreciate that the creator consistently updates it to improve the experience—thank you for your hard work!
- (2024-12-11) VV Lincoln: Very useful! Suggestion keep only the currently active tab group expanded while collapsing the other groups.
- (2024-12-10) Foo Marcus: Tabs from the same domain are grouped perfectly love this extension. Just one suggestion: while the "Group by Domain" feature is good, having an option to include domains along with all their subdomains would make it better.
- (2024-12-09) Joseph Adams: This extension covers all the features I need backups and syncing, window management, shortcuts, global search, drag-and-drop. One feature would be better adding AI tab grouping would make it even more practical.
- (2024-12-09) D & D: I was searching for an alternative to One Tab and came across this. It's great that it’s almost entirely free to use. The synchronization feature is handy, but I personally prefer using the export option for backups. Maybe someday I'll consider purchasing a license.
- (2024-12-09) Paul S.H: I truly enjoy using this extension. It's simple and works great. I especially value how I can close multiple windows and later reopen them with all the tabs just as they were before
- (2024-12-08) Calvin H: I've been using it for a year now, and I can’t imagine browsing without it. Huge thanks for creating such an essential tool!
- (2024-12-04) Ryan: Nice tool! It's packed with useful features that make it a pleasure to use.
- (2024-12-04) Kylian Hill: Works really well! Here's an idea for a new feature: implement AI-based tab group. For instance, it could identify a YouTube tab and automatically label the group. Alternatively, users could contribute by sharing their custom group names in a database for popular websites.
- (2024-12-04) Ashish Alexander: Sometimes it does not load.
- (2024-10-10) Betty W: DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS EXTENSION AND DO NOT PAY FOR PREMIUM. THIS EXTENSION LOST OVER 1500 OF MY SAVED TABS. TRIED TO REACH THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT BUT THEY DO NOT RESPOND AT ALL. SAVE YOUR SELF THE HEADACHE AND FIND A BETTER TOOL TO ORGANIZE AND SAVE YOUR TABS. BEYOND FRUSTRATED AT THE LOSS OF TIME AND SO MUCH INFO. *****UPDATE: I have contacted the developer and Chrome (/google/alphabet...) regarding my experience and requesting assistance and have gotten no response even after 3 weeks. I REITERATE: THIS EXTENSION IS GARBAGE, AS IS DEVELOPER THAT DOESN'T STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT OR PROVIDE SUPPORT. SERIOUSLY - DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS IF YOU VALUE YOUR BROWSING HISTORY
- (2024-08-11) Emre YILMAZ: You cant save all the windows, you have to do it one by one. Theyre selling subscription and give you 5 session freely. Thats the reason for this im pretty sure. 5 window = 5 session. Predatory
- (2024-07-05) Jason: Update: Changing back to 1 star, because this product is simply not functional at this stage in its development. I will haveto search for an alternative. I appreciate support reaching out to me after my initaial review. I updated my star rating (1 to 3), and here are the highlights with UPDATED comments 1. Seems unuseabley slow with 4000+ bookmarks -I imported several thousand from my multiple OneTab installs. Apparently I will need to be selective in saving tabs until this limitation is addressed. 2. Slow/no support -several days without a response had me slightly irritated. A simple email autoresponse would have been very helpful. 3. Onetab import did not include dates -OneTab does not export the date, which casuses One Tab Group to assign the date incorrectly. I feel that that is important information, and user should be alerted to that during the import process. 3. Love the UI/features, but I was frustrated by the above issues. I believe this is a great product, apparently still in development, but with great potential.
- (2024-06-03) Just Sturgis: Becoming less and less reliable. I inadvertently hit the One Tab Group icon and bam! 23 open tabs close. "No problem, right?" That is what it is meant to do. Just go to OTG and restore the tabs. Only they are nowhere to be found. They are gone. Isn't saving tabs the ONE THING that this tool is supposed to do? So now I sit here hitting "Ctrl+Shift+T" 23 times to restore the tabs I was working with. This is not the first time this has happened. OTG has to be one of my worst purchases ever. I asked for a refund right after purchasing because it was not working as expected and I was denied. What a waste of time and money. Save your money! Stay away from this extension! Pretty good when it works. It has been quite unreliable for the past few weeks. Many times I click the extension icon and nothing happens. Syncing between browsers/devices has been sketchy. Wish it was more consistent. Especially for a paid tool. Feels like I wasted a good amount of money on this one. OneTab Plus doesn't have all of the "bells & whistles" (specifically the synchronization across devices), but it is extremely reliable, blazing fast and FREE! For those reasons I am back to OneTab Plus and I'll figure out a way to sync or automate the process across my devices.
- (2024-05-15) Basel Shishani: I was experimenting with this and I lost all the tabs and windows in my session except one active window (Some hundred plus tabs)! Very unhappy - now I need to waste time researching the same matters I've researched before. Why are you closing windows and tabs en masse without any warning!! Same issue is reported in other comments. Be careful when testing this and save your session with a proper session manager and export as a hard copy before installing this buggy extension.
- (2024-05-13) Annie .B: The app is good, but its search feature isn't great in its current state. Right now, the list of all my saved sessions looks like a mess, and it's very difficult to find any specific session. It would greatly improve the app if we had the ability to search by session name or tag group name, or with the implementation of a tagging system.
- (2024-05-06) Aalae Chah: I thought it was a very very nice extension until I lost alll my tabs. please be careful if you want to install this app, it only works for few days (or few weeks) then deletes everything. I installed it because grouped tabs wasn't enough for me since I had too many group tabs themselves and I wanted to group the groups hahah and this extension did exactly that. But I gave too much trust and ended up losing hundreds of tabs which I would have rathered them to stay unorganized than to be deleted forever.
