- not well listed how to install over differnt browsers like chrome to edge. I have installed on chrome but their is not a offical extension on the edge store what you have to do is Under Extension Manager on edge, scroll to the bottom, and you will see text saying "Can't find what you're looking for? you can also get extensions from the Chrome Web Store" click the "Chrome Web Store" link and search Bookmarkssync.com and download. you will have a chrome extension on edge. copy your sync key to the other computer. The first sync states you will lose current bookmarks on computer you choose to have as the destination, and feels more like a import feature, but every other sync after that is bi-directional.

- not sure how your supposed to sync between edge and chrome if there is no extension in the edge store to install?

- Yiou are given one password with your sync setup. The password is used to backup bookmarks. You can also download this extension on another browser, input the same password and the new browser will share sync with original browser. It's very easy to use.

- Does not backup bookmarks, at least not in any way I could discover in the settings. All I can do is copy the ID key that keeps my various browsers synced together. No export to backup at all.

- This extension just... works! No wading through multiple settings, options or other junk - plug it in, set the access tokens the same on multiple browsers, and your native bookmarks synch-up. That's it. If you currently use the native bookmarking system on chrome based browsers, you won't have to change anything at all. I also use Raindrop, but I'm not really sure I need it anymore. I have this extension functioning on seventeen browsers - we all have access to the same bookmarks. The synch is bi-directional and nearly instantaneous. What's the catch? I can't find one, so why isn't everyone flocking to install this?
