  • (2023-09-15) Pedro Santos: It works! but the problem is: It doesn't stop working! It keeps reiterating the output endlessly. Please fix this. And also, in some pages, it doesn't appear on top of some elements of the page, and looks weird. This was my prompt: The following text is the content of a web page. categorize it; Describe the context shortly in one line; Sumarize the conclusion of the idea presented, presenting some historical context to the subject, giving a general common sense opinion on the idea; After, talk briefly about the most impacting fact presented. • (2023-08-12) Zoran M: ChatGPT is doing all the work. It would be better if this extension allowed some customization such as changing the number of bullet-points and changing the output language. Also, the prompt used doesn't seem to be particularly good thus resulting in poor summaries (see example below). Is it true that the developer has access to all the sites visited? "- A migrant boat sank in the English Channel, resulting in one death and five people in serious condition. - British and French coastguards carried out a joint rescue operation, saving 50 people. - Six individuals were airlifted to a Calais hospital, one of whom later died; survivors mentioned using shoes to bail water out of the sinking boat. - A volunteer reported rescuing 54 people, including one woman, and stated the boat was overcrowded. - Home Secretary Suella Braverman is expected to lead a meeting about the incident; over 15,800 people have crossed the Channel by boat this year. Here are the key points from the provided text: 1. Volcano eruption in Tianjin disrupts traffic in Chinese capital. 2. Protests led by women in Ghana captured in an image. 3. Cultural icons Ja Rule, DJ Kool Herc, and Grandmaster Flash featured in a picture. 4. Various other news and images highlighted on BBC's platform, including topics like the job market, cultural heritage, and fashion choices."
  • (2023-06-28) Tayler McCracken: I have tried many ChatGPT/AI summarization extensions and have found this one works the best in terms of the length and comprehensiveness of the summation. My favourite one I have found.
  • (2023-06-17) DURGESH: go to hell
  • (2023-06-14) Lord Tulkus: Great idea too bad the creator is collecting HUGE amounts of data from all of your private sites. Can read and change anything on your openia.com so all of your chatGPT chats, all of your facebook, all of your linkIn, twitter you name it. This is why nothing is for free
  • (2023-06-04) ekarron: Didn't test it for long, but it breaks youtube webpage when activated
  • (2023-05-07) Evan: Just downloaded this yesterday and been using it all day, its working great so far. I had to first create my GPT account for it to work, but after that its been awesome (I'm new to GPT, but familiar with AI summarizing and paraphrasing). Im stoked. Can even change the prompt when you go to extension 'options'.
  • (2023-04-30) Antonio Arbues: Useful plugin. Please, build a better UI. I would like to start reading the summary as it is being generated -- but because of bad UI I have to wait it to finish to be able to scroll up to the start.
  • (2023-04-18) Jay S: Doesn't work
  • (2023-03-25) Madame Minty: Works great. Only wish there was a context menu option for it, preferably with the possibility of selecting a prompt from a few predefined ones. "Rewrite this for brevity, in outline form:" is okay, but I have specialized ones and I'd like to switch between them.
  • (2023-03-16) Frentzy: z.z The person in charge of this extension I bet he quit, therefore this is my review for it. #NotWorking
  • (2023-03-05) Saba Udzilauri (FailedBlock): Summaries don't make sense ( atleast from Medium articles )
  • (2023-03-05) Leandro O.: It's working
  • (2023-03-02) erez z: Not working. keep waiting for GPT
  • (2023-03-01) Patrice Hurtubise: I can't use it. It keeps asking to log in first while I'm clearly logged in with the tab pinned on chrome.
  • (2023-02-26) Jyotindra Desai: Hangs with "waiting for ChatGPT response....". Haven't been able to do even one summary!
  • (2023-02-24) sharon Liu-di (华晨宇的ET): did not work at all
  • (2023-02-23) Loke Carlsson: It starts writing a summary but then all of a sudden i get "Failed to load response from ChatGPT"
  • (2023-02-23) Aniruddha Sheth: Really good and it can summarise whatever is selected or the whole page. But for me the moment it finishes summarising, it goes to say "failed to load response from ChatGPT" which is quite frustrating. Anyone have any workarounds or ways to stop this?
  • (2023-02-21) James K: work great so far
  • (2023-02-21) Andrew Turk: Awesome product! Suggested improvement: Add a button or option for automatic text to speech. Allow changing the font *optional Bug, maybe: Manually changing the prompt from the settings page did not actually change the prompt that was used. Can't wait to see what this tool can become!!!
  • (2023-02-18) Zack Chang: Keep asking for login to ChatGPT, can't even get one summary
  • (2023-02-14) Amy Kniss: This looks great in the demo but it keeps telling me" Please login at chat.openai.com first" but I am logged in.
  • (2023-02-13) shawnzhsh: seems it does not work right now. does anybody hit the issue, or there is kind of specific setting somewhere? thanks.
  • (2023-02-12) James: love so far, testing it now - 2023 0211
  • (2023-02-08) dfx dfx: It stoped working, that's a shame. I'll find something else.
  • (2023-02-06) Alexey Buronov: Not working or it takes a lot of time
  • (2023-02-05) Saurav Subedi: not working
  • (2023-02-02) Andrei Nicolae Nemeti: Does not work. Keeps asking me to log in, but I already am. Didn't manage to make a single summary.
  • (2023-01-28) Mario Barretta: Has stopped to work also for me Is there a solution?
  • (2023-01-25) Matthew Kowal: This implementation is broken, it times out and disappears in the middle of a summary. Another thing I dislike is that it does not use the system font, but instead its own and there is no customization option.
