Will explain . How I used this : I took a Tag Cloud, of Characters 72430 Words 11050 Lines 602. And This Extension split it into 19 digestible parts for Chat GPT [ you'd click on the extension icon top right - pin it from the chrome puzzle piece icon. The extension icon reveals a window to paste your whole body of text in the top mini window, it then auto divides the text, then just press buttons, order numbered for copy and pasting] . Each part basically consisting of: Characters 4010 Words 611 Lines 31. In my case, was able to make a list of the contents asking gpt to do that soon as; it received Part 1. And for every part that follows I post, will immediately do this task. (Each time it did this, I copy pasted its list over into a text file, which is always on top of the browser window, for saving.) Example of what I told GPT: "I require a comprehensive list of all names and titles contained within the text I provide. Since the text may not include commas, diligence will be necessary to discern individual names and titles. The text will be provided in 19 segments. Upon receiving each segment, please process and label them accordingly, for example, Part 1, Part 2, etc." Criticism:: It maybe unreasonable given the memory restrictions on gpt, to ask it to remember all of the text at once, as the Overview video was trying to do. So you must work around the limits, and do as I have. Sure, there maybe some inconsistency between the GPT editing you ask of it, but it's better than nothing right now. And there are other tools to help Identify basic things. Like duplicates or whatever. GPT is not perfect and it even lends towards typos sometimes. My experience with this extension was good overall. To repeat : If you try to use this as described in the Overview Video, you'll probably receive this message error : ""Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com"" . Its best to do your editing one part at a time as I explained in my example case. Because of imposed limitations of OpenAi. NOTE! ::: Parts this extension divides by, is too much for the current GPT to handel. Example: If you ask gpt to make a list of one part, it will Stop short, and fail to list the remaining Characters 1196 Words 180 Lines 9. Improvement Suggestions: It would be nice Ideally, to use a shortcut key, to paste from all parts,successively, already loaded to one shortcut key. Currently the extension window closes on its own, and does not hover. Thus a shortcut function would improve this. Adjust Parts to reflect what GPT can actually handle as it exist today.
