Dameem Darwan 2025-08-04: I mean is it only me or using Snipo just feels extremely annoying to use? It has very nice features and I'm willing to pay premium, just not at it's current state. 1. The side panel will not show those YouTube extension buttons on the right side of the screen. Gear icon -> Setting -> Notes Mode; you have two options: 1. Side Panel or 2. Split Mode. Split mode works fine, but side panel will not show those buttons. Ok, but I do not like using the split mode. It's annoying to me and want to use the side panel mode. Nope, you do not get those buttons on the side panel. Extremely weird. Definitely a major bug. 2. Snipo will not allow me to add my 1 Notion page and kept giving me the error message "You should allow access to only one page" I had to use my creativity and literally just spent like 30m trying to figure out why this is happening until I figured it out. ... It turns out that Snipo will not allow you to add a page if that page is not on the main page of Notion. If that page is within a sub page, then Snipo will consider it more than 1 page... Like, WT*? Seriously? How does that make any sense. That's still just 1 page I am giving access to, It's just that that page is a page within a page. Nevertheless, it's still just 1 page. 3. This is just a personal preference: Gear icon -> Notion settings -> Predefined Snipo Properties -> change; what's not available is the YouTube upload date. I think knowing what date was a YouTube video uploaded is very important information to have. Seriously, I just don't get all the 5/5 reviews where the main function of the app just doesn't work that well.

NITIN PRAJWAL 2024-10-19: Feature Request: It would be fantastic if the note-taking functionality could work for all YouTube embedded links, especially since many educational websites include embedded YouTube videos alongside additional notes. Being able to take notes directly on these embedded videos would enhance the learning experience. Additionally, to elevate the note-taking process, users could integrate tools like "Readwise." By using an extension, users could capture notes from the embedded videos, extract transcripts via Readwise, and then organize them in apps like Notion for a more seamless and robust experience.
mj bond 2024-08-24: It worked for three days then I received a "No access to this page" message after paying for premium. Customer service is very, very difficult to find. Very disappointed. ***UPDATE*** It was a Notion error, not Snipo! The team at Snipo are outstanding just like their product!

Greg G11 2024-06-21: Too many pop ups in my browser from it to advertise their youtube channel. I do not want pop ups i want to turn them off. when it snips the transcription it's not using AI into notion to make sure you are not snipping duplicate content so you'll have to clean that up. Then you have to use another tool to clean up. The AI flash cards are pretty useless on a 50 min video you get 20 cards or less and these AI generated cards could be really opening questions from the video with no relevance, there should be an option to choose more cards for this. While the idea is very good it's poorly executed At first you will think it is really good, it is but then when you really start to use it as a heavy user that drys up fast as you simply can't do much with it after your initialisation period. If dev took it seriously and fixed these issues this would be a super powerful tool and i would use it everyday, until then i have pretty much gone back to doing it manually now I really hope it improves but for what i do it's too annoying to use Thank you

But That was because I did something I think I made the page not private? if you loose functionality, uninstall reinstall and its back and fantastic, very VERY happy to have this most helpful App EVER!!!
