DARK THEME FOR SERVICENOW
The extension will make the colors of the ServiceNow UI to the darker shades, as well as alter the text color to make it easy to read on a dark background.
Dark mode is a user interface for content that displays light text on a dark background. Dark mode is especially helpful for those viewing computing device screens at night. The reduced brightness can reduce eye strain in low light conditions.
Dark mode can also be used as a courtesy in situations when a screen's bright light might annoy others.

- (2023-11-18) más: This is probably the easiest solution to ServiceNow's blinding white pages but unfortunately, one of snow's components, so called "Agent Workspace" doesn't properly switch to dark mode, even with this. Here's hoping there will be an update! Cheers!
- (2023-03-23) Michael Stenlund: Went from 5 stars (perfect) to 2 stars (disliked it) because the new Service Now is a White Theme that only allows black borders in Dark Mode. When this extension is enabled, the white parts of the screen become black and the text cannot be read - as it is also black text. Please patch for the newest Service Now version> I do not know where to check the version... but anyway, it is the newest S-NOW Version. If patched and working, I will be back giving you a Perfect rating!

- (2023-02-20) Bruno Sorocaba: Good theme, but I found a bug here. It's hidding the button "Close Task" on SN. If I disable the extension and refresh the page, the button appears again.

Latest issues

we use the dashboards with reports configured on them and the line items have a hight BG with light grey text. I can fix it if i inspect on the element and change the BG colour to black, but every refresh it goes back to white. Facing a similar issue as Piipperi800, the extension has no effect, likely do to custom domain. In my case, ours is structured like "<subdomain>.service-now.com". - (2023-03-02, v:2.0) Piipperi800: Custom Service Now domains do not work with this extension
The extension requires the site to have a Service Now domain, and it's not possible to add/change this without modifying the extension manifest file. - (2023-02-21, v:2.0) Bruno Sorocaba: Problem with button "Close task"
Hello dear publisher. I found a little bug on your extension, about button to Close task, which is hidden. I compared using the extension and with it disabled. Your plugin it using a CSS code "display: none" under element.style, for the object name "close_sc_task". If you can, take a look. When viewing reports, the line items show up white on white. You have to do a mouseover to get the correct dark mode and see what the item is. Is there any configuration I can do to improve this to make it visible and dark?
