  • (2023-04-15) Michael: It works fine, but the searches are much too expensive. 1.5 cents per search may not sound like a lot, but it adds up quick. Have you ever needed to search for something, and tweaked your search query several times before finally finding what you need? Suddenly that 1.5 cent search becomes a lot more expensive. You change a single word in your search, that's another 1.5 cents. I tore through the 100 trial searches in just a couple days. At that rate, maybe 1500 searches, $22 per month? That's more than an ad-free 4k Netflix subscription! That same $22 will buy you 11 million tokens through the ChatGPT API! I admire what Kagi is trying to accomplish in the search space, but the service is much too expensive for people like me.
  • (2023-02-14) Norman Hunter: Kagi Search Has Issues. I did create an account but my login only works less than half the time. The extension problem may be with Kagi Search itself.
  • (2022-11-28) Darko Tasevski: For some reason, it stops working after some time, and I need to reinstall it. Not sure what's the problem...
  • (2022-11-11) Aaron Wynn: Great extension! Great search engine!
  • (2022-10-18) Ian Elletson: Best search engine there is
  • (2022-05-28) K W: It would be nice to separate the two functionalities: - set Kagi as default - use Kagi in incognito I prefer to use a different search engine by default but still have Kagi in incognito, and with this extension it's all or nothing.
  • (2022-05-26) Jason Fruit: I really like Kagi search, and hoped this extension would allow me to choose it as the default search engine for Brave. It doesn't seem to do anything, which is disappointing. Still planning to use Kagi, though.
  • (2022-05-26) Conro Norock: Impressed by the search engine, but the extension itself doesn't seem to play well with Opera GX. It doesn't set itself as a default search engine properly, and trying to use it in incognito mode ended up crashing the whole browser. Hopefully updates will get the extension running smoothly in this browser!
