Hide n' Seek improves your job search experience on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor by allowing you to remove promoted jobs and companies from your search results.
⭐ How it works
“Block” buttons are added next to every listing. If you see a listing you don’t like, simply click the button to hide it. By default, the listing will be hidden under an overlay. Alternatively, you can completely eliminate it from search results by enabling the “Do not display hidden jobs” option.
To hide promoted jobs, click the “block” button on any promoted listing and then activate the “Promoted” toggle.
For easy management, you can view a list of everything you've hidden by clicking the Hide n’ Seek button on your browser’s toolbar.
🔒 Privacy
Your data remains completely private and is never shared. All data is stored locally on your device and may sync across your devices if browser synchronization is enabled.
🔑 Permissions
“Read and change your data on all indeed.com sites and all linkedin.com sites”
Reason: Enables the addition of "Block" buttons and other UI elements to listings.
“Read your browsing history”
Reason: Enables the detection of LinkedIn and Indeed so the extension can look for listings.

It tackles a small but annoying problem people face, and addresses it in the most minimal way possible. I love it. I thought about creating something like this myself, and I'm so glad it's already been done. One critique: The ability to remove listing based on "Promoted" seems to be gone. It was available a few weeks ago, but there is no option available anymore. Please do bring it back.

- (2023-01-28) David: Tired of having to sift through the recruiter spam on LinkedIn, this extension is great for giving you control of which jobs you want to see. You can block out individual companies, a feature LinkedIn should provide natively, but they won't because companies and recruiters spamming the search results makes them money. Now I don't have to see all of the fake jobs and spammy recruiters in job searches.
