• (2025-08-13) Kelly Warrick: Great, until it's not. It often makes up completely new function names despite me providing it with my exact code. It will also disregard spreadsheet IDs and sheet names as I've provided. Which is only a minor inconvenience, but seems to imply a very short memory. It also constantly forgets my directives to return things in a specific way, without comments for example. One major issue that has come up is the inability to paste any code into the chat that uses <> tags. The chat renders them as a web browser would and then can't answer my question because it lacks the correct code. Glaring issue with an AI that is specific to creating web apps. It didn't start doing that until a few months ago. It's very difficult to work with now because of that. At the same time it seemed to lose the ability to see my code without me having to paste it into the chat. Prior to that it was able to read my code on it's own. Overall, it's not much better than Gemini or ChatGPT seeing as it is designed specifically for Apps Script.
• (2025-03-09) Armstrong Knight: 5 stars just for thinking this up. Wow. I am just going to have to believe in you because ... i debug thousands of iterations a month. I am looking at how to get ai to do that for me and this is a major find by way of directly integrating ai into the editor. Great thinking. I would like for the ai to allow me to do more than a question based initiation prompt. You know how chat will write you a two foot working scirpt. That is the responsiveness i need. I want you to like ... do more videos or give me more user video. It does not work like i want it with what i know. But ... way worth putting my energy into this one. What an obvious thing someone should have done long ago. How to use this deeper and instantly. This is sick. But need to see more user videos on just the depth of prompts allowed.
