Ever wanted ChatGPT to review your doc or to analyze particular article from the internet? ContextOn is a plugin which will solve this limitation for you! How to use? Simply go to the chat bot and start putting the urls in your prompt; they will be enriched with the context. Some prompt ideas on how to make the most of it: - Can you summarize the tips from my file <url> - Can you make a 3 day visit plan in London using these notes: <url> - Can you write a cover letter for this position: <url> based on my CV: <url> - Can you find any grammar mistakes or vocabulary misuses in this document? <url> - What is this article about? <url> What's supported today? • (2023-04-28) Aleksandr Malykh: Great extension! It fits into the chatgpt workflow pretty nicely that I feel like something similar should be a default chatbot behaviour. When programming I found it quite useful to supplement the chatbot with the existing documentation of the product from the web for it to hallucinate a bit less. This is something I can do pretty easily with this extension. The word limit is still there though. It would be nice if the extension summarized the whole website instead of just truncating the prefix of the content or if it divided the content into several messages.
  • (2023-04-25) Andrei Matveev: ContextOn is an incredible Chrome extension that truly elevates the ChatGPT experience by addressing one of the biggest challenges chatbots face: accessing external data sources. This amazing plugin allows you to empower ChatGPT with internet sources of data and even integrate it with your own documents, without any hassle. By simply installing ContextOn and providing URLs in your ChatGPT prompts, you can now transform the AI's capabilities effortlessly. I'm amazed by how well this extension works, and it has significantly enhanced my interactions with ChatGPT. Some excellent use-cases for ContextOn include summarizing content from web pages, reviewing documents hosted on Google Drive, and even finding grammar mistakes in shared text. The versatility of this extension is impressive, and it makes ChatGPT even more useful for a variety of tasks. ContextOn currently supports ChatGPT and works seamlessly with a broad range of URLs, from popular websites like Reddit and Wikipedia to shared Google Docs and Sheets. The only requirement is that the linked content should be accessible through HTTPS or shared with anyone having the link, so the chatbot can effectively process the data. The text length constraints imposed by ChatGPT are taken care of by the extension, ensuring that the entire process runs smoothly without any hiccups. In conclusion, ContextOn is an outstanding Chrome extension that greatly improves the ChatGPT experience by enabling access to a wealth of external data. Its compatibility with numerous URLs and efficient handling of text constraints make it an indispensable tool for ChatGPT users. I highly recommend ContextOn to anyone looking to unlock the full potential of ChatGPT and explore the AI's capabilities to its maximum extent.
