• (2023-09-06) Jerry Skids: Really cool app. As someone who enjoys banter discussing a topic, this one is a lot of fun and I get a lot of use out of it. Would love to extend these podcasts a little longer and even maybe give the option to add "AI Discussion" of the topic, but this is in its infancy and only getting better. RecastPro with unlimited articles is perfect at this price point - any higher or with an article limit and I would then say it wasn't worth it. I do wish there were an Android app, but as an alternative, I love the fact that I can just create a playlist of podcasts in an RSS feed and listen to all my news in my hour long commute. Can't tell you how much I love this project and I can't wait to see what features are introduced next.
• (2023-09-05) Federico Borobio: Sucks. I tried to use it with 5 important web sites and in 4 of them they tell me that I must use the Pro version for 10 dollars a month. Also there is no Spanish version. Thanks, I'll pass.
• (2023-08-30) Hewie Poplock: The app works great on my Windows 11 computer. The app is a 5 star. However, I have a few complaints about Recast itself. I think the terms "Right.", "Absolutely", etc. at the beginning of each speaker is annoying. Not having a list of servers for the Free level makes it difficult to test without committing to the Paid Version and its 7 day test.
• (2023-08-23) Václav Sedlatý: I like it a lot but creation is slow. I would rather hear transcripted text only with focus on outcome than discussion between two imaginary names. There is also a disruptive lag happening before every name is read again and again....

Subscribing to RecastPro has allowed me to not only publish articles on our websites but to transform them into engaging mini-podcasts to share across our social media channels. Before Recast, I dabbled in similar workflow processes but struggled with coding for dual voices — Recast made it simple. As the platform evolves, I eagerly anticipate a higher subscription tier, enabling users to embed the player through a personalized domain convention. Such a feature would further streamline the process for myself and fellow creators, enhancing our overall experience, while further expanding the footprint of this little piece of tech gold.

• (2023-07-28) Gene Altman: Recast is fantastic! It converts articles from myriad sources into short audio chats (mostly 2 min) and delivers a selection to your inbox daily. They quickly learn your preferences and send you the chats you're most interested in. You can also convert any article from it's URL yourself and listen to the chat. Recast feeds me information and ideas I otherwise wouldn't begin to have time to absorb. It has lterally changed my life.

• (2023-05-30) Jonathan Bibas: Just amazing... but works only in English ! It would be great to have it in Android, also to choose the length of the recap (2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes audio), and it would help to have more "natural pauses" of "hum", "oh really", etc. Maybe the interviewer should be less "smart" and be more the "naive" type of person asking for more details, and even asking the dumb question that a typical average person would ask... etc. Great idea, great project, this can sky rocket ! Go Go Go !

• (2023-05-26) WBG: takes a minute and it didnt work on windows/chrome with the extension installed. was looking forward to it but there is no helpful information to explain why its not working so its deleted.
• (2023-05-24) Dany Shqiptar: UX sucks without the app which is iOS-only. You can request an article with the extension, but it'll get delivered by email. It can support other languages, but the voice over just speaks in english. Sometimes it tries to pronounce foreign words which results in gibberish
• (2023-05-17) Yuriy Voloshkevych (flocken): hmm, it seems to make recasts available only on Apple iOS App, not at Android or Windows. So, it might be a usefull function, but limited only to an Apple users :(
• (2023-05-16) Marcus Rost: Great application. The creation of the playback is a little slow, and could use some way of deciding how shallow the recap should be, but it's good!
