- seamless VPN solution, the only issue is that more and more websites detect VPN and stop working until you switch off VPN but this is a general issue and I assume Proton is already working on a solution how to fix it ;)

- I hate to publish publicly just about anything under my name as it constantly keeps getting swept up in data breaches, but I had issues with ProtonVPN app data and of course-- my profile on MacOS X. Created a new profile, signed into my iCloud account on the new profile, all my stuff slides over, and ProtonVPN works once again. Frankly, the reviews might be for the freemium class ProtonVPN offers or it was a software issue like mine. Protected by not the EU's GDRP law, but a Swiss Federal Computer Privacy law intended to be compatible with EU's GDRP. Being in a paid tier, it's worth every penny with the ease of configuration and selection of extremely secure VPN options, as Secure Core will route you thru two different countries. There are better Free alternatives, but none that I trust to keep my data private. Also, you want to try before you buy? Try the built in ProtonVPN in Vivaldi, based on Chromium. You may have a better experience since the two have a deal. Oh, and if you have both like I do, I can VPN somewhere else in the browser under a different country than the rest of my apps. Signal in Berlin, browse the web in Denmark simultaneously. It's really worth it, and I'm much less dependent on Apple's Privacy Policy and my hopes they are being not only completely candid, but won't be forced to violate it by Government mandate some day in the future. The Patriot Act is still out there... And Proton Mail & ProtonPass are wonderful and included with the cheapest tier up from Free. Please, don't knock on it if you've only tried their Free tier. You have no idea what you're missing. But the US Government and Corporate Fiefdoms have a very very good record of what your ideas are, and how to sell things to you without you realizing it. :)
