1. Use voice for typing
Press and hold the right shift key on your keyboard when you want to talk to chatGPT, the voice will be converted into text on the textarea.
Press enter to send the message.
2. Convert chatGPT response text into speech
auto convert the response text from chatGPT into speech.

- (2023-02-11) Bianca Bauer: Love the idea, however, I usually ask Chat GPT questions in 3 different languages, and while it comes out great in english, the same voice with a bad accent reads to me in spanish and german. It is hardly possible to understand what is says in the foreign language. Perhaps in the future there might be a way to change voices automatically when a language changes?

- (2023-01-03) Sonic Vision: Works, but more human voice(s) would make it better. I only did couple of quick tests so maybe haven't figured it out yet but would like easy way to choose whether text is spoken or not, and be able to stop/mute it when it is speaking.
- (2023-01-03) Tianzhi He: Very intersting idea, love the fact that you write it with ChatGPT together. There's still room for improvment though, if the electronic voice can be turned into human-lilke voices like the Alexa one, it would be much better. Also, the need of using "Enter" to send the voice message is unnessesary, the message can be send directly to the ChatGPT once the user release the "Shift" button.

I love the accessibility aspect of the read aloud. I was wondering, if it would be possible to increase the read aloud speed (rate at which the text is read aloud) up to 2x speed? This would make it much easier for myself and others that have reading issues, dyslexia, and additional accessibility barriers. how to change the speaking rate. I'm using auto speech as a chrome extension on macpro. I don't see anywhere in the extension how to change the rate. I tried changing it in Mac system preferences/accessibility and could change the voice/rate there, but in ChatGPT there was no change.
