• (2025-06-03) Krow Mitxel: This extension is NOT perfect in any way, shape, or form. I use this extension because it is a great alternative to Twitch Chat User Interface. On top of that, you can freely use the emojis any time you want. The things I dislike are: sometimes, the 7TV Nightly doesn't work on certain channels in Opera Chromium Browsers (meaning that the emotes won't become available at a certain point in time, or they won't load completely); the 7TV Nightly App Icon will completely disappear in Opera Chromium browsers; 7TV Nightly won't allow me to save/load my favorite emojis at any time (it will store it for a brief moment, and it will become unavailable); and the BIG ONE I dislike: NOT allowing me to fully export my settings. I am sure these will be fixed in future updates. I will still recommend using this over the default Twitch Emoji.
• (2025-03-04) Matt Hilton: Has some features that I like which aren't present in FFZ or BTTV, like condensing chat highlights and the Mod Slider, but unfortunately it is plagued by bugs the developer couldn't be bothered to fix in an even remotely timely manner, despite being perfectly happy to sell paid features while the extension is severely broken. Just use FFZ and enable the add-on for 7TV emotes to save yourself the trouble of fighting with the extension and the devs just to maintain basic functionality.

• (2024-03-28) Audra Kilman: When I select the app itself from my extensions on chrome, it shows a tiny window which is a black bar preventing me from clicking on anything. Wonderful, this happens on both the stable and nightly versions.

• (2024-03-07) Miaow Minx: Works extremely well — I appreciate that I can select emoticons as "favorite" without having them appear in the chat window, and that it knows to not show favorites from channels I'm no longer subscribed to. The one thing it really could use is a way to hide emoticons or categories. Twitch has so many base emoticons that being able to trim ones I'd never use would make it much easier to quickly find new or useful ones when I want them.

• (2023-03-31) Devon Rumbold: Way too aggressive. It breaks or overwrites most other extensions for chat. Also many of it's functions are only partially working currently which makes continuing to subscribe to 7tv and use the extension kinda dubious. Only hoping the frequent updates from the nightly version will fix these faster.

Other than that I like this a lot more than the original 7tv ext. Hoping to see those issues fixed pretty quick though the team over there goes bonkers keep up the good work guys :p
