Polychrome adds a sidebar with tabs and groups to the left of your browser window.
Now that Chrome is able to unload background tabs on its own, having many, many tabs becomes worthwhile — and the tab strip is woefully unprepared.
Polychrome lets you more carefully curate, group, and archive your tabs, building a familiar structure and giving you quick access to the things you need.

- This Chrome extension is exactly what I need to prevent me from having to jump to another browser such as Arc. It's the best I found and beautiful too. However, there is one quirk that's driving me mad. It sorts your windows by how many tabs there are. So if you close one tab, the order could completely switch. This causes issues when trying to close multiple tabs in the extension, and the order of the tabs keeps jumping around while you're doing it. You end up closing tabs you didn't mean to. This reordering of the tabs is completely unnecessary, and it would be better if they just removed this feature.

Useful to change the title and color of the tab group and to add a new tab in a group, absent a tab counter in each group and icon in the tray not visible with dark theme applied, absent light mode.
