But the thing is for most extensions to control them they have this little pop-up menu (see for example dark reader, ublock, colorzilla, 1password). Do you think it might be possible to launch that little floating extension window (the same one that gets launched via the normal extension dropdown menu) instead of the "default_popup.html" somehow?
