Fluxshot is a Chrome extension designed to be integrated with Redmine to take screenshots and create issues without leaving the browser. Fluxshot enables users to create quick feedback, report bugs, and update existing issues with screenshots. This extension allows you to capture the entire webpage or a specific part of it, also you can annotate and edit the screenshot using text, highlighter, or other editing tools. Setup Download Fluxshot from the Chrome store. Check "Enable REST web service" in your Redmine API settings. To enable the API authentication, you have to check Enable REST API in Redmine Administration -> Settings -> API. How Fluxshot works You need to navigate to the extensions toolbar and select Fluxshot from the list. If you are not logged in, please login Loging with your Redmine URL and user id/password At the initial login stage, you need to enter the username and password, which, once inserted manually, will later be auto-filled by Fluxshot, which reads the API Key of the user from Redmine with this data and stores it encrypted. Once logged in you will be able to capture the entire screen or a part of the screen. With the help of editing tools available, you can make changes to your screenshot, add your subject description or other required details, and hit the create button. New issue will be created as per as the tracker type selected. You can also update an existing issue using Fluxshot and add a screenshot to it.
