The promise of the ClickEdit functionality is tremendous, and this Chrome Extension deepens that with a user-friendly solution to a frequent pain point I experience: the cumbersome company login process. Eliminating the tedious back and forth on login status, this extension allows for a completely seamless approach to applying some quick website edits and is most useful for the small text edits or image updates that take up roughly 90% of my workflow on the backend. There is a lot of potential here and I am looking forward to continued updates.
- (2023-01-18) Aseem Bhardwaj: Hi - I would like to share a quick story behind the existence of this 'must have' ClickEdit Connect extension and why I am so proud of it. Recently, I was talking to one of the senior members in a highly reputable digital marketing agency in the NY metro area and they shared that one of their pains on a regular basis has been to take care of the logging requests from their business users and clients. By logging request I mean users send emails every time they forget the URLs of the website and the pages where they were last editing and these request over the period of time adds up to the pile to existing support tickets in their to do bucket list which ultimately slows down their important higher value work that they were focused on doing to bring in real $$$ value to their firm. Hence, I felt the real emotions and could not wait anymore but to take the matter in my own hands and as an customer success account manager I took this matter seriously and in few weeks with ongoing support from my innovative and hard working tech. team @ Tharzen - ClickEdit Connect was born and we officially made it public here at Google Chrome web store this month (Jan.'23) to solve this everyday issue to increase productivity. Now, with ClickEdit Connect you have the freedom to focus on what you do best i.e. content updates, straight to editing your and your client's website(s). What I like - It does exactly what it is designed to do. Great! Much needed tool. No more remembering the URL's, multiple web pages with custom urls. Personally, it saves me a lot of time. I can start from where I last left editing, whether returning back within weeks or months time. Plus, I don’t need to rely on support staff if they are on vacation or I need to do something late at night/early morning. Now, I have the freedom and power to do it when I want! - (2023-01-18) Mikaël Mayer: Outright disclaimer: I'm the programmer of the extension, can you expect me to give less than 5 stars? :-P That said, I even use it myself on my numerous WordPress websites and... I love it. 1. I'm forgetting what it is to write "/wp-admin" because now it's just a click from a page to edit to the login screen. 2. I don't need to "navigate back" to the page I wanted to edit after logging in, because the extension does its job of redirecting to that page after login. So I give 5 stars because this extension is exactly doing what it is supposed to do. Simple but efficient. Can be augmented (reach out to us for that ! We are listening !), but the core is there.
